"where you are replaceable, transactional human resource, using other humans transactionally as resources"

So in your view, remote work is saying the quiet part out loud.

Great, now we can drop the charade. Except now, remote workers get some modicum of enjoyment from the transaction. At the expense of "culture", "where in this together", and "when you're here, you're family". (Do gorillas deliver Olive Garden?)

Does anyone use their Apple Watch for golf? I'm thinking of gettin the 7, but was wondering how good the GPS is that sort of thing.

Not only that, but maybe people closer to retirement would take it earlier and not wait for Medicare to turn on. Opening up positions for the next wave of folks.

Because many people will remain WFH even after the vaccine rollout. Video conferencing will be essential to connect those that go into the office with those who don't, especially during mixed in person/remote meetings.

Boys will be boys. Shucks they didn't mean nothing by it. Just blowing off steam. Don't blow it out of proportion....

Did I miss any?

"Some people are saying" it wasn't even really people. It was a performance art piece to get "real Americans" in trouble.

Give me a break. The people that participated in this are deplorable.

I think you're right. Swipe up to go home is fine, but swipe up and pause for multitasking is going to be a pain to explain to my parents.

What does a developers portfolio entail? I'm a motion graphic designer and when I apply for jobs I send a demo reel of my work. Which is a 1 minute video with snippets of my best stuff set to music. Is there something similar developers send along with resumes?
