The 3D view mess-ups are fun to look at but are the most understandable and least unique to Apple. It's not hard to find messed up 3D in Google as well.

the last time i tried jedit (admittedly, years ago) i found the font rendering on mac os x to be ugly. since it's on your checklist, i assume it's improved since then?

Also note that the demo video is from the Simulator, not an actual device.

Follow-up anecdotal data: Drive app on my 1st-gen MacBook Air is using 2-4% CPU, even when "paused."

(For comparison, the Dropbox client uses 0 to 0.2% CPU when idling.)

Now I'm curious. Do you have a screenshot? (I don't have Drive yet)

That sounds bad. Since I am primarily a laptop user, I am very picky about which online sync and backup services I use based on the resource usage of their desktop clients.

I rely on Dropbox shared folders for exchanging files with some clients. I also use the Dropbox integration of a few essential iOS apps quite regularly. For me, switching would mean having my clients install Skydrive, as well updates to those iOS apps for Skydrive support.

also, currently, all incognito windows (in chrome) share the same cookie jar. so if you are using facebook in an incognito window while surfing other sites in other incognito windows, you have the same problem.

Facebook is 13+, but Google+ is currently limited to 18+.

i've been using them for years, and am quite happy. i use them for almost all of my domains.

that's what i thought too, until i read this on that page:

"Facebook Phonebook displays contacts you have imported from your phone, as well as your Facebook friends.

I haven't tried TweetBot yet, but I have also rejected other Twitter clients for not showing enough tweets in the timeline view.

I've found that Boxcar's push is more reliable than any other Twitter clients' push, including the official client.

Believe me, I am quite familiar with cs3 install issues :( Their installers are horrible. But the comment I was replying to stated as fact that everyone has to uninstall Flash before installing CS3, which (as my data point shows) is not universally true.

To extend your analogy, the original comment is like saying: "If you go to Afghanistan, you will get your head cut off."

i didn't have to uninstall anything when i installed CS3.

easier and more accurate.
