The problems described sound like they have more to do with government interference. How would yubico be responsible for delays multiple shipment companies have and are unable to talk about?

The DEA has to do with this topic since you are contradicting a federal decision.

Your use of statistics here is meaningless. 52000 is not the number of guns they put on the street.

The market impact is real and covered in the article. People specifically search for police guns because they are cheap relative to other properties that make them appropriate for human on human violence.

There's no people who deny travel reimbursements that use Saudi gas.. Does that mean we all need to fly to Saudi Arabia to plan future businesses and garrison death squads in our houses?

I think there's a difference between doing the minimum that is not a disadvantage and making a relationship with an ethical discount country your competitive advantage.

It's equivalent to "nothing to see here" which is exactly the TLDR I was looking for.

The flash drives give an interesting sense of reliability since the controller will keep freshening and error correcting. I havent dared to leave one unplugged for a few years with data I wanted.

Seems like the difference between cell phones and landlines implies things like self driving cars will be spread without relying on most people in a region affording them before construction starts.

The fully automated vehicles may be a lot more dangerous in some places than others, but you'll probably be able to get run down in the middle of nowhere.

When we are only talking about a few samples in each group, 4 cases every few years seems fine.. I would hypothesize that many of the symptomatic cases are people who are foreign but exposed to UK endemic leprosy. Of course to establish how true that is means there are more data points to collect for cases with foreign contact and the involved lands.

With cameras alone it seems pretty easy to trick them into dismissing road signs as nonexistent.. I think Lidar alone should be telling you there is a sign, so your camera is faulty or someone is putting up blank signs.

Lidar as I was told to use it would be in conjunction with a database of way points like signs, so the trouble would be knowing if the sign was updated.

You are saying that Europe is rich because it has recently become a melting pot similar to the US' role when it became rich?

It seems to me like the primary claim is that no one is providing people management. I'm not really convinced that anyone wants to do that for free or that anyone technical wants to spend free time engaging with an organization that organizationally identical to an employer.

It seems like a perfectly good topic to me (and I'm not sure why we would expect more in an OP than in a ask HN topic).

The OP may not understand why but it is very common to have gaps when relicensing because collecting CLAs, etc, is often allowed to slip to the minimum for the current license terms.

That's not a very charitable take for a message on a short form platform. A company like Terraform may have had to make harder decisions or never be able to do a rug pull if more of the community refused to submit code under CLA or non-GPL style licenses.

quickly copying catwalk trends and getting them to consumers quickly

That's not much morphing, the goal is to have clothes that are quickly obsoleted for people who can now immediately keep up with the trends. Those people can be a minority of their customers but buy far more by volume, don't wear clothes until they wear out, and need to dispose of out-of-date clothes. If they push enough consumers to fast fashion then there is a vast excess of used clothes that need to be thrown out.

It's not about saving tax dollars ... Yes, there's 1% fringe rightists in there. But seriously? It's not about that.

That's missing the point about money. Buying the murder weapon is not in the same category as all the inactions that may go into knowing a murder will happen and not ultimately stopping it.

I'd like to see graphs connecting politicians, lobbyists, geos and tainted policy proposals and a sufficiently large political/social group bringing awareness to such graphs, getting experts talking about them, etc.

IMO the goal is not one treaty, it is to make the cost of selling out sufficiently high that every treaty round improves every future round instead of so low that every round adds to the percentage of participants who are sell outs still participating in the political system.

I see it as depressing that this is gaining traction it doesn't deserve. TCP doesn't need one hack at a time and then to make us choose combinations that sort of work in half the use cases in the modern world, it needs to be replaced with SCTP.
