According to the FAQ, it seems like you can add your own music to the player as well. So portable DJ device. Plus, clever tool by the Kanye team to get a bunch of fan remix tracks in the wild when the album is finally released.

One of my grade school teachers taught me a trick for 7x8. She would tell us to think of the grades one would have to pass before reaching the 7th and 8th grades of school... 5th and 6th. Thus, I will always remember that 7x8=56.

I don't understand why everyone has focused so much on the beats headphones side of the acquisition instead of the fact the this is a way for apple to get into the streaming market without having to negotiate from the get go with labels who have been weary of them gaining even more control in the music market. When they negotiated the deals for iTunes they were not even a blip on the radar in the eyes of record labels. Sure, the headphones are the immediate value with the price margin, etc. But, in the end, I see the biggest benefit being gained from an apple backed streaming service.

REMEMBER, Apple didn't create iTunes, they bought it.

I believe that you are mistaken here. The first cookbook listed is all vegetarian while the cookbook this post is referring to is the second one listed and includes various non vegetarian dishes such as roasted chicken.

More of a "heads up" than anything else. Signed up for the extended free trial through the Beats site a while back. Only opened the app once since then and received this text today: http://i.imgur.com/R8OPMMc.png

Downloaded it and I am really enjoying the app. Keep up the good work.

Just a comment on one thing of interest which I ran into upon first messing around with the app... While moving my fingers about, the four and five finger gestures kept taking me out of the app and into the next in my multitasking queue. I did not know until now that these gestures even existed. But, I know now that I can turn such gestures off in the general settings.

I wonder if an app is allowed to automatically disable/enable these gestures for a user upon entering and exiting the app. Could be useful for music apps such as this.

I know a few people using a iPhone 4 that choose not to upgrade to iOS7 because of performance issues.

Grandpa’s iPad 12 years ago

To quote John Gruber on this post:

"With so many people using their iPads as their primary cameras, I really hope Apple can figure out a way to get the same camera used in the top-of-the-line iPhone into the same model year’s new iPads. And I worry about how someone like Blanc’s grandfather is backing up those photos."[1]

One thing these e-cig companies could try in order to boost their rep is raising public awareness of the importance of recycling batteries.

Imagine battery recycling stations at all the places that cell these e-cigs which contain batteries themselves.

iPhone 4 user here. I am repeatedly finding that the lag to view the multitasking leads to me double tapping the home button for a second time resulting in the assistive touch button appearing on the screen. Annoying.

One of my biggest fears, as someone who enjoys such wide access to music, is that the number of services will increase to such a large a number and result in such catalog segmentation that I will have to be a member of numerous streaming services to actually listen to what I want.

Maybe this is the what is needed, though? Each major has their own service? Each independent label or groups thereof then do the same? One interesting service I have seen lately is http://drip.fm/ I am really curious as to the success of it so far.
