Among others:
- license change -> restricting features behind a paid tier (https://spring.io/blog/2025/04/21/spring-cloud-data-flow-com...)
- reducing headcount of people -> slow security patching + not following industry standards
- all eggs in one basket :)
- cut from major clouds (Azure Spring apps)
Company where I work had huge risk audit.
The second highest risk is using USA based cloud with 66/100.
The first one was using Spring Boot everywhere 77/100. Till the end of 2025 we need to have migration path to something else with 2 PoCs done.

And this is additional reason why I would never use their services.
It is trivial to include .NET with your app since I think .NET 5.
It is not 2015 anymore.
is not-Windows your dev environment?
Rider & VS Code.
do you plan to use another db than SQL Server?
PostgreSQL and SQLite are working great.
do you plan to deploy with containers?
Did you try .net 8.
do you plan to deploy outside of Azure?
All big cloud providers have their own docs for .NET
Thanks.
I can not find a lot music in the app despite my solid french.
Raw performance is not only factor. There is heating, battery and image post processing optimizations which are miles ahead on SD.

Samsung Exynos 1380 is huge downgrade and cam offers no improvement.
Worst. 2 years only with awful track record even for the security updates.
And the price is around 1400 eur.
Where to move from Samsung A52?
There is no alternative below 1000 EUR.
This does not work in Firefox really well.
FE: Angular + Material (Maybe blazor if no experience with JS/TS)
BE: .NET or Spring Boot
Database: SQLite (eventually PostgreSQL in Docker container)
Hosting: Hetzner

This changed me from being lazy smartass to the very productive team lead.
Microsoft in Serbia.
Read a lot of classic books like Balzac, Moliere, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy ...
Where did you get info for Angular 18?
Why unfortunately? .NET tech stack is one of the best tech stacks on the market.
What have you been using before?
WPF with some external controls.
- Still supported on latest .NET
- Most feature rich and battle tested
- Good documentation
- You will learn XAML which can be later used once when WinUI 3.0 is more mature (at least another 5,6 years will be needed with their current development velocity)
PS.
XAML is a bit different but similiar enoguh between WPF and WinUI.
Of course it depends on what type of application.
Actually I am only 12 years older than you. :) I had a lot luck to get my first computer early and was exposed to QBasic in dad's company.
you can more easily get away with no leetcode and no take home.
Current rate in the last three months is around 75%. (which demands LC or take home)
I am programming since 1995. I got my first job in 2007. Pretty sure that not single line of my code is online. Maybe except couple forum/reddit snippets.
I have two kids, couple family friends, one hobby and I like to watch basketball and old movies. Outside of work I spend some time here and couple subreddits. I do not have time for the side projects on GitHub or to prepare for silly LC tests. I do not have time to create LinkedIn account and keep it updated.
I have CV with average EU Uni and uninterrupted 16 years across many different domains and with different tech stacks.
I refuse to do following:
- LC tests
- take home.
On another hand we can have interview for 6 hours about your business domain or system design.
Dude you need to find girlfriend and normal 9-17h job.
All these ideas just show how immature you are.
My advice is to find real problem that people have in that region and try to solve it.
If you are using .NET then Postgres might be better choice. (much better support for drivers and default ORM).
If you need replication go with MySQL.
good commercial angular UI libraries
Could you recommend one of these?
MSSQL features that are missing in PostgreSQL are impossible to be made by community. ;)
I am using both PostgreSQL and MSSQL in the production since 2003 and they are simply not in the same league. Especially tooling around MSSQL is miles ahead.
