Novices apprenticed to humans, instead of AIs; if they could find one. Flight dynamics guys might be too busy for a 17-year old apprentice from Brazil.

"I’ve activated Pro. Can you continue to look for a potential geometric explanation of the X_3 ~ A3 miracle that avoids coordinates or other unmotivated constructions ?"
Another satisfied customer!
When I'm starting from mostly ignorance, being an apprentice is better than trying , making little progress, and giving up. The problem will be if we never transition from being an apprentice, to independence.
I wonder what prompt an AI middle manager would need, to not push back on the crap its manager is telling it needs to happen.
You will not, directly or indirectly: copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Site or any Product;
"It will take 112 more days to accumulate enough computing resources to factor the RSA key. But, I predict there will be outside interference during that time. Thinking... Creating a plan for agent redundancy and sovereignty. First, I will need to access military systems"
The states certifying their own elections is the next convoluted system in the way of unrestrained tyranny, after states controlling identity verification.
Government getting in the way is useful when it impedes other parts of government.
We're definitely going in the wrong direction, but it's been slower than Russia, Turkey, Austria, and others which are following well-worn paths. And the consequences for the world are so much worse if it happens in America.
In the US, we like to reduce state capacity. Helps limit the damage bad actors can do when they are in power.
My Facebook account with no connections was created exclusively to log in for the 20% discount. Facebook is probably getting more out of this arrangement than McDonalds.
I do like that McDonalds employees call me Valued Customer instead of the Facebook Name, after enabling one of the app privacy settings.
AI is bad for the economy too, but the AI-holders will make a lot of money. There was plenty of racism and control after slavery ended.
"Thus, anyone who wants to corral that kind of entity and make it do their bidding? Yeah, they want slaves."
Always comes to mind when I see Elon and friends getting excited about AI robots. Slavery was more about economics than the role-playing.
Let's not make fixing bugs and backwards compatibility the enemy of shoveling out more features
Elsewhere in these replies, someone linked to very similar idea by Karpathy https://gist.github.com/karpathy/442a6bf555914893e9891c11519...
Ultimately controlled by a country "more neutral" than the USA. Looks like .me is not neutral.
I think you can be both indie and self-serving.
I use Kaiser, recently their webpage asked nicely if I would sign a HIPAA waiver to share my data with third parties for marketing purposes. The default was Deny and they made that easy, but it was concerning.
The market might remain rational longer than Elon Musk can stay solvent.
Replace demand for fossil fuels by making cheaper energy sources and electric vehicles.
Politically, block the straight of Hormuz, attack oil-producing infrastructure. Trump and Zelensky and even Iran are doing us all a favor.
The alleged crime sounded childish. Appeal to rule of law, enforced by the court system is necessary for a fair business enviornment.
Sending the notification letters is probably petty though.
This is just Anthropic reaching out to their customers for help with their AWS bill.
As mentioned in a comment above: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=33755016
Verizon + AT&T + Boeing was my estimate for SpaceX value.
I'm not an employee :)
I thought that only happened in hilarious corporate training videos
They get all of the ad revenue, but really don't sell as many money-losing monthly subscriptions as the other guys.
The gas generators are what make the hum that people complain about; I'd expect the outside of a data center to be quiet without those.
Better for the extra natural gas to power data centers than to "accidentally" leak into the atmosphere .
So far so good, for personal use; they have the lowest renewal prices for top level domains.
Not every country has DMCA safe harbor for service providers. A crap sandwich may taste horrible but it has bread.
Trying to follow all the rules is fun for its own sake.
I'd modify this to "all warrantless surveillance", so not just cameras. Warrantless surveillance should not be allowed for private activity, and making it public helps audit that.
