If you want to take more than 3 screenshots then this would be faster. Usually you would have to stop the video and select the screenshot area. Plus I'd like them to look a bit nicer than a normal screenshot.

The purpose I made this was to create additional content from videos (blogs, social media posts). So, I plan to add some additional stuff like export to .webp to optimize size or different aspect ratios.

As a kid I installed Ubuntu in the first laptop I ever owned. One day, I put it in my backpack. It probably woke up from sleep and got fried because it was unusable after that.

Still holding a grudge on Linux for that one.

OpenAI currently leads the front on (commercial) AI, so I doubt people will switch. In fact most offerings become outdated pretty fast and everyone else tries to play catch up.

Imagine using a GPT-2 type model when everyone else is using GPT-4. Until the dust settles there's no point in investing in alt models imo, unless you're leading the research.

They have the money to hire anyone they want.

VSCode is a good successor imo. I liked Atom for it's simplicity and not getting in your way - which i think vscode does well.

Trust and personal brand will have a bigger role to play in the future. That goes for businesses as well.

We humans are not really good at processing a lot of information - and that's what this is about. An overflow of information, choices and products. Everyone is trying to sell something.

So building a brand that people can trust and follow makes things easier. Apple is a great example of that.

At my company we dropped Spark in favor of Ktor since it's not properly maintained.

Love the minimalism of this and the other software listed on your site. More apps should just do one thing and do it well.

I like watching movies/series from 2000-2010s. Trying to access that content through streaming is like a whack-a-mole game. Some content is available to some streaming services, in some countries, for a small amount of time. Give me a break.

It's not vendors but governments that are pushing for this.

For me it's useful for new languages that I'm not familiar with, saves a lot of googling time and looking up the docs.

Exactly. Living comfortably in the middle of nowhere is a luxury and that's why all the rich do it. Everybody else needs to be close to the rat race otherwise they can't afford to eat.
