Okay so following your analogy, viruses are like subcomponents of an engine.
How are subcomponents of an engine moving in space without ever exerting energy? I can imagine how this can happen infrequently but can't see how this propagation (movement without energy) is sustainable.
I really do not understand viruses.
Given that viruses do not have a metabolism and are not able to produce their own energy, how do these satellite viruses then survive off of other viruses?
I don't even understand how without energy producing mechanisms viruses can survive, propagate, etc.

His approach, reasoning and explanations have been very appealing to my analytical Mind.
I go for a 3 to 4 mile walk every day before work. Start off sleepy, end up excited to get to work. Much of the same benefits without the sweat of running.
It is ironic that vitamins are okay to recommend. But when practicing physicians got together to recommend HCQ, that advice was labeled as misinformation and promptly removed from everywhere.
Clearly vitamins are better than a drug that has been in use for decades with a proven safety record AND while being recommended by physicians bound to the hippocratic oath.
Why can't there be validity to both vitamins and certain existing drugs? (AND vs OR)
It as though we actively do not want to admit that we may already have something out there that can help us.
PS: Vitamins is a friendly name for often synthetic or derived compounds, not necessarily in the exact same chemical structure as found naturally in organic matter. Not to mention there are also various chemistries that affect absorption etc.

As a Canadian living and working in the US, I encourage all those that think Canada is somehow better than US, to go give living in Canada (and paying their taxes) a try.
US is a much more competitive and diverse market in every respect (even with it's shortcomings).

In the last ten years we (in the US) have lost +500,000 people to the flu.
For some reason the people that died from the flu must be lesser in value because nobody did anything about it.

Many "anti-vaxxers" are simply concerned parents.
Considering that vaccines (in general) have been deemed "unavoidably unsafe" at the Supreme Court level, they are not completely unjustified in their fears. [0]
Vaccine manufactures cannot be held liable.
Thus there is a "National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program" put in place to compensate those that have been damaged by vaccinations.
To date, over $4 billion dollars has been paid out in damages. [1]
Just as mentioned in this article, side effects are major deterrents of any medication. And significant efforts need to be made in order to ensure that side effects do not occlude positives effects.

Tesla is betting BIG on NNs.
In the presentation they say that we have NNs in our brain. Which is why we can look at one photo of a dog, and distill enough identifying information in order to spot the breed from then on. Training sample of 1.
Curiously though, they than say that NNs don't work like our brains do, and require A LOT of training data from all angles, etc. Training sample of N.
The presentation doesn't actually show, how they plan to train a single NN to encompass all the knowledge for self driving. In particular, the looooooong tail. But maybe they'll have independent models, say based on "observed" conditions, which swap in and out ... based on more NN logic.
But at the end of the day, there is no known (to me) examples, of NNs even approaching human ability. Tesla is bascially hoping we will believe, they will be the first to show this capability of NNs.
Let's wait and see, 2020 is not that far away.
