I've used WiFi FTP server on android. The main advantage is that is totally cross platform, and very fast (far from USB speeds but easily you can get a few tens of MB/s). On the other hand, OneDrive is very good at uploading and keeping a sane folder structure, so there is also that.

The cabling management has improved now, but this setup gives plenty of screen real estate, both displays are touch, and in comparison with a tablet where the applications context is lost the majority of time, here I can be more productive and is a joy to work with it.

I disagree with the people here saying that no image is better than a camera feed. As an individual contributor and trainer myself, multiple times, I've found out that looking at someone explaining something in itself adds value. It doesn't need to be a sales pitch, you can discuss something with a colleague with a shared whiteboard, and still I appreciate seeing another one, their expressions, face complexion, mood, even their cats, dogs, etc.

That doesn't subtract to the fact that audio is the stronger medium. A great mic setup is orders of magnitude better than a pretty face via a DSLR. For camera recommendations, I agree with the majority that it needs to be a reliable setup. I was not a fan of DSLR with capture cards precisely because of that. I recommend AverMedia line of 4K webcams which have good defaults, amazing glass and have a great resolution and adjustable depth of field. In the past I used an Aver C340 4K which is amazing, but bulky, and now more recently I use a PW513 which is way better than anything Logitech has to offer.

I just started an application with them also for a Solutions Architect role, I even have a scheduled technical interview in a couple of weeks. Wondering if I should go through. I am in a new job as of lately, and found myself wandering a lot in youtube, reddit and twitter. I also used ublock for removing the recommendation section and it makes my life much simpler. We should use an adversarial approach to all those UX hyper optimizations from big cos. I also had to install LeechBlock to limit my time on time wasting activities, now I sleep better and have an easier time focusing on work stuff, even just freeing some mind-CPU to accomplish more meaningful tasks. Glad that I am not alone in this battle for our own sanity.

That is new for me! Do you know for how long it has been on the air? Yeah I think it will push Indeed harder than LinkedIn, tbh. On LinkedIn the most valuable interactions it has been directly with the recruiters, besides the usual crap, and it has been mostly a positive net for me.

I fear we overcomplicated everything software/infrastructure IT related, and in the no so far future we will completely be dominated by huge mega corps. We already see something of that since the last 20 years, but also because of hubris and ego we continue making things harder and harder for new comers new hackers.
