The thing is, even if the CBC is government-funded, it is still independent reporting, unlike news outlets from China, Saudia Arabia, or Russia, which are straight out lies and propaganda. Any teen with access to social media can debunk 75% of stories on those outlets. NPR, CBC, BBC, and the rest are on a different planet compared to the other garbage.
Back in the early 2010s, EA and Ubisoft were considered the worst gaming studios because they pushed "loot crate" mechanics. Now, Activision-Blizzard has not only developed some of the most expensive stores in any game, but they almost always deliver half-finished games and abuse their employees in the process, while EA and Ubisoft are considered some of the best places to work in the gaming industry. I think this company needs a boycott really bad to put it back on the good path.
VC bros will fund almost anything. Not that suspicious. I've seen them fund cybersecurity firms on the edge of legality, even after they were questioned in the Indian Parliament on a major corruption case. Nothing is too shady for these people.
It was Russia. Even toddlers know it was Russia, ffs. They just wanted out of the German gas supply contract. Ffs, they ran "winter is coming" ads on social media for a purpose. They've warned Europe they'd turn the gas off if they helped Ukraine. Where have you been living?
