We are still a bit of a ways away from being able to compile a script into a show. Also Veo 3.1 is old AF, it can't even do audio references! the cool kids are currently focused on Seedance 2.

I am biased, but am a bit kinder to AI video slop than most. Like I bet the first ever movies were pretty shit too. Give it a couple years while we figure out this new technology, and it's currently as bad as it ever will be, it can only get better.

At first usage I'm not impressed. I've probably spent a couple grand on Seedance 2 to date, and I can't find anything google omni flash does better than Seedance from running a handful of samples through the system. You can find some of the videos I've made in my HN bio link.

I've had trouble getting KDE connect to work as a shared clipboard between Android and my Mac. Has anyone ever done that successfully? I couldn't find any documentation to indicate people have which is a real bummer.

Doesn’t the GameCube already have a network interface? Like something called phantasy star online used it for internet, and you can connect multiple GameCubes for 16 player Mario kart I believe.

I use superwhisper (but maybe should use this!). I use karabiner elements to map the microphone button (f5) on my mac to be f20. I than tell superwhisper it's shortcut key is f20, works super well!

The problem I have with shad is that it’s react based, not HTML based.

So if I want to use shad, I can’t mix and match static HTML partials in with app code. To maintain a consistent theme, I would need to make literally everything react.
