I much prefer the current interface.

There need to be more "find things like this" buttons in the world. I love Pandora for being able to find related works very quickly, but I hate the lack of real ability to explore. This seems to be a nice mix.

Why don't more sites leverage the "if you liked X, you'll love Y" data that gets generated by millions of clicks?

Seems to miss the point. The hard part of writing is editing, not producing. Nobody wants to read 40,000 random words; the internal act of curating is the hardest part.

The networks will never keep up with Youtube, MetaCafe, and all the other video sites. I'm happy to use Hulu when it's free, but no way I'll pay when I can get the same content free through Google Video.
