I use Linux as primary platform for development (C++, Java, Python, PHP) and Windows as secondary platform, as long as we deliver products for Windows.
MacOS is irrilevant for us, as long as the market share in Enterprise field is really low.
That would be great if corrupted politicians could be shamed on Billboards too

look at Hashicorp: all their products are opensource and I think it's not disappearing in the next years.
Packer, Vagrant, Terraform...they are largely adopted and it makes Hashicorp in a strong position

what about OpenJDK with OpenJFX? Building by myself it's an overkill task (it requires Qt for Webkit), especially on more platforms. I think it's a pity there are no public available releases of OpenJDK with included JavaFX out there.
When Oracle will remove it in Java11, it would be even worse
