After a day of trying to get it to work at all (tried through both the docker thing and the non-docker thing) and finally getting it to work. Then, the nexy time I try to start it, shit being broken again, I rage quitted and switched to hledger. I'm sure it is easy if you are in the webdev/devops world though.

The compiler is open source, and written in rust. The web interface is free, and I think it will stay that way? (I think they run on donations). They could really use some clearer marketing on the front page...

That is not what typst is though, it really is just a language and a compiler which you can just run in your commandline (and a fast one at that). There is that flashy web interface, but that is separate from typst itself, but you don't need to use that, it really is a latex replacement.

How does the app get the youtube videos, and their info. Is it scraping, like newpipe. Using official api's, maybe something closer to what youtube vanced did?

Would it just stop working when WEI is implemented?

I don't think "capacity" neccesarily has a concrete unit connected to it. I am pretty sure you could call both the charge and the energy in a battery its capacity.

I kinda hate how in europe (or in the netherlands at least) there are non-grounded outlets that fit grounded plugs, and grounded outlets that don't fit non-grounded plugs.

Ideally, grounded outlets would all be type F. And non-grounded outlets should be the compact, recessed type-c in which you can't fit a grounded plug.

Though, I think they are very slowly moving to just making everything a grounded type F outlet.

This one isn't "manga guide" though. I don't think the source is even japanese, cause it reads from left to right (kinda jarring, reading a manga looking comic from left to right). I think this one just comes straight from arm.

One of my favorites is an RC boat made out of metal. It turns out that you can get 0.3mm thick, tin plated steel, cut it with scissors, bend it, and solder it together with a normal soldering iron.

Another other one would be a split keyboard, for which I designed and built everything (case, pcb, plate, software) from scratch.

have you tried 8pen/8vim, it looks like it makes more sense than qwerty for the small screen, though, it has a bit of a learning curve. Also, I know that for japanese, you have those 12 key keyboards, where holding down while dragging up, down, left, or right, means different characters. I think that could work for other languages as well.

If I had ultimate power, I'd make it mandatory for all software demos to be done on a machine with a core 2 duo and 1 GB of ram. Only allowing for fancy hardware for stuff that really utilizes it. And no, moving everything to the cloud as a cheat is not allowed.
