If as the author suggests AI is inherently designed to further concentrate control and capital, that may be so, but that is also the aim of every business.

What app can I use to aggregate all the blogs I want to follow?
Channels should also include a #roast-the-product channel which encourages harsh, direct but valid criticism of the product (NOT people / feature authors etc).
It should be an anything-goes place where anything can be vented but also, no responses are required.
As a once full-time designer turned full-time engineer, I totally agree with the author.
There are plenty of other more creative design tools - but Figma's success and ubiquity have locked many organisations into more limited, sometimes formulaic and un-creative design expressions.
Also, I unfortunately don't feel that this is the ideal forum for this idea to get much support.

Only because I heard about it recently. Alternative title: we figured out how the brain gets rid of junk while you sleep.
I haven't read the act and am not going to, but, for this size community I'm pretty sure having a flag/report button would do the trick, and to go the extra mile, with very cheap LLM's generating a "dodgy content" score on every message would be pretty trivial. This seems a bit knee-jerk of a reaction to delete the whole site.

I’m on Zwift a lot with the Zwift Ride and Wahoo Kickr core. But I’m looking for a recumbent setup so that I can also work while riding or game on the ps5 in a more comfy position. For keyboard I have the Ultimate Hacking Keyboard which is perfect since it has a mouse layer built in. Haven’t figured out the recumbent setup yet though. Any tips appreciated. I’m in the EU.
We could run something like TensorFlow.js in a Chrome extension to identify the person in the image and replace it in the dom. A little resource intensive for inference on every image in but probably worth it in this case.
Totally. Feels like a literary street performer.
I know some people may find the introduction engaging, but any article that begins: "There comes a moment in life..." you just know that the author is going to lay out some pretentious self-scripture.
My company uses Linear, Slack, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Monday, GitHub, Discord and more. This, if it works well, would be a godsend.

Well maybe in time ML will help break through the high energy physics roadblocks.
How would I handle this with Postgres?
I don't know why I love this.
I'm pretty sure that's the joke.
The standard response to this should be: "Of course they are".
Well done on instilling in your son the deep-seated lesson that you are not trustworthy.
An evolution of RSS should have been the end game of social networks.
The dream of crypto was supposed to make this near zero
Anecdotal but I noticed in Portugal recently, in summer, over the course of two months, I saw pretty much no birds.

No. You still have the option not to buy Copilot and still use GitHub's services for free on public projects. Or, if you're not comfortable with your open source code being perused by an AI, you can set up your own privately hosted public Git repo pretty easily.
I honestly don't understand the general outrage at this fair seeming deal to me.
