I think you're right. Also news stories tend to have a currency. By the time a copyright owner complains, the news is old news. They don't want some automatic process to mark their content as "spammy" and not feature their links or content if someone pushes it.

I started out as a rust True Believer and still am active in the Rust community. But I don't use it anymore for new projects because it really doesn't bring anything new to the table. At my current job, I'm knee-deep in C++.
I'm very happy with my P90D, but when it was time to get a second electric car, we got a Chevy Bolt, which we're also very happy with. I don't like to order things that aren't shipping yet. There have been no quality issues or bugs with my Bolt. It's never been back to the dealer.
It's always nice to see how such a simple set of rules can lead to such complex items. An entire Universe that runs on these rules can probably exist.
