Chrome Web Notifications are also a complete dumpster-fire. In my experience the average older folk has no idea what web notifications are. They accidentally enable notifications from shady websites over time, and then blindly believe the web-spam notifications being pushed to their phone informing them *HELLO YOUR PHONE HAS VIRUS DOWNLOAD "CLEANER APP" TO FIX BEFORE PHONE DIE* is legit.

Honestly I'm surprised that rather than trying to build stupid backdoors and such, tyrannical governments don't just try to make a encryption key database. They hold ALL the keys and can get into anything they want, anytime they want. If you get caught with keys or encrypted data they can't access, punishment ensues.

Like if you're gonna try to eliminate privacy and freedom, just be honest and open about your intentions.

Security sucks to the average joe. I tried to help my Mom set up 2FA and...it didn't work out well.

Most average people are just confused by it, but it's so important for security the focus shouldn't be getting rid of it, but figuring out how to make it buttery smooth to use.

Smartphones in my opinion are a major example of this. I can't tell you the number of people I've meet who barely even or don't even know how to use their devices. It's all black magic to them.

The largest problem is the over-dependence on the use of "Gesture Navigation" which is invisible and thus non-existent to them. Sure, they might figure out the gesture bar on an iPhone, but they have no conception of the notification/control center.

It's not that these people are dumb either, many of them could probably run circles around me in other fields, but when it comes to tech, it's not for a lack of trying, it's a lack of an intuitive interface.

Lessons Learned. The Steam Deck is the culmination of previous iterations. Even with the flop of the Steam Machines, The Steam Controller and Steam Link have ended up as Cult Classics, and there is the possibility they'll get revisions down the line, even if they end up minor niche releases.

Must be related to hand size or something, because I find the Xbox controller considerably more comfortable than the Playstation Controller

This idea has been disastrous for modern software.

I switched to Linux entirely (but may reinstall windows as a second OS for some games if I get the wild hair...), and while it can still be buggy at times here and there (Arch Linux, so go figure), it's usually my fault, and it can be remedied most of the time.

Still a thousand times better of an experience than Windows.

I don't think carriers should be allowed to hard-lock phones either, but that's another thread for another day.

Just change it to "This incident has been logged to /PATH." and that should be fine, right? Or, if you're really concerned about not exposing system log paths just mention it's been logged.
