It's an absolutely awful outlet for "nationalism" in a post-national diversified world.
Table tennis, for example, is basically a bunch of Chinese people battling it out for gold for their host country. Am I supposed to root for the Chinese-Australians as if they're any more representative of me than the Chinese-Canadians?
What's that got to do with anything?
What's stopping me from identifying variation in the frequency of different traits between ethnic groups in the current day? It's not a virtue to pretend not to notice such things (or, indeed, to be truly incapable of the most basic pattern recognition).
I think the argument could then be made that if you identify traits common to closely related tribes (eg. indigenous East African) that are noticeably different from the frequency or magnitude of these traits in a different cluster of closely related tribes (eg. indigenous Scandinavian) then there should be no reason to pretend to ignore them.
But if I understand the angle of "social constructioners" correctly, they're not disputing that what we might call 'ethnicities' or 'tribes' exist (ie. a group of people of common ancestry and with a distinct genotype), it's just that trying to lump the thousands of these into a few broad categories, like "black", is far too crude to be useful.
But ethnicities still exist. So would it not be valid to be "ethnicist" (ie. very specifically racist), like "Those Sami people are so x" or "Gosh those Bantu people are y"?
Why do people bring this up then, any time race is mentioned? It's such a trivial point to make, it doesn't add anything.
Ok, so "black" or "White" are not absolutely clear labels that we can use to describe every single person ever. No shit... Still, Morgan Freeman is black and Margot Robbie is White, and I'm White because both my parents are White, and if there's a serial killer roaming the streets then knowing if he's "black" or "White" is very useful information so I know what to be on the lookout for, etc.
It's like those insufferable people who can't wait to point out that "A tomato is actually a fruit!" any time it comes up in conversation. Ok, so what? "Race is a social construct!" Ok, so what?
Sure, why don't I pop down to the spouse shop and pick one out from their extensive range?
There are almost no marriageable women around these days. Having $ does make getting laid very easy, but I'm not interested in that. Unfortunately it doesn't help at all in finding one of the good ones (perhaps it makes it even harder).

I find it a little unsatisfying when people write these things without telling me roughly what they're worth. "Rich" can vary wildly depending who you ask.

The kind of people who say this about White culture (tennis, golf, chess, etc) cream themselves over the rich vibrant culture of traditional dress in literally any non-White sport or ritual.

You're mistaken if you think it's a virtue to ignore this. If you are White, it's disgraceful. If you have White kids, it's unconscionable.

I see endless demonization, fear-mongering, prohibition, ostracism, censorship and lies about White nationalism than any other movement in the West. Your government hates White people. It misleads you to hate us and to fear White collectivism.
What do I care for freedom if my great grandchildren have no homeland? are despised minorities in a soulless economic zone? are freely assaulted and killed by foreign authorities? don't exist...? That's such a suicidal, nihilistic ideology.

So? You might need to confront the possibility that these are not the evils you've been led to believe they are. It appears they may well be healthy, rational, vital traits for a people to survive and thrive. A population that actively resists or perverts these natural behaviours through xenophilia is not long for this world.

But these are different things. They are strategies for separate components of a scam. Romance is one method of luring the mark, obtaining their trust, motivating them to pay, etc. Pig butchering is one game plan for maximising the profit extracted from the scam.
You can have a romance scam without pig butchering, and you can have a scam that employs pig butchering without any romantic element.
When trying to enter the SPTX address dictated over the phone, I'm only able to get a few digits at a time, but returning to the phone app to press 2 to repeat the address clears all progress in the other app where I'm trying to enter it.
I battled through it and even double checked the address but it still failed.
If that's part of the game, then fair enough, but I'm not doing that again so that's the end of the line for me.
