No, that is horrible, I get less punishment for youth etc. But they know what they did and did it multiple times, and it was nearly systematic (I read about 80 witnesses? wtf is going on?)

Acquittals happen when there are contradictions in the evidence or victims testimonies, but when it's clear that a rape occurred and the perpetrator only gets a stern talking to - don't really know such stuff happening.

I hope the classification for these drugs is not so wide that "normal" drug users are now weapon holders while using their stuff recreational without harming anybody.

Point 3 is very true.

In my company at the time, they had a million rules and processes, but everybody had to drop everything because the son of an influential client could not get toy cars (!) into the new enterprise retail procurement system because of some incorrect logistical data. Normally you would get a ticket, analyze etc.

But he was the loudest/most influential, so everything else was unimportant. No Jira, nothing, just one angry email. Fix it for him alone, NOW! Billion-dollar company, thousands of clients but a dude with 20 toy cars won.

The issue was resolved (we removed the validation rules that were implemented before because "this is the filter for incorrect data, and we want to clear our data by restricting them") and everything went back to normal. Jiras, process and so on.

Taking 400W *24/7 is quite a lot of energy, and I'm not really believing the 4-8L output.

At 17° Celsius and 38% humidity, you get 0.008g of water out of 1L of air. There are physical limits to this, of course.

The dude in the video does the calculations, and it's far from "no problem to make water out of air". It would be better to use the energy for something else.

If it was so easy to do, there would be no problems with water shortages around the globe (and soon maybe "water wars") just take it out of the air with solar.

These dehumidifiers produce half a liter a day and need around 72 watt

which is maybe 1€ per liter drinking water for my area

The tech is cool but not really new or a solution to all water problems, the energy cost is relatively high.
