I've always liked http://perldoc.perl.org/perlre.html , obviously it's perl specific but most of it can be applied to other implementations.

The worst thing about it for me is that I have two computers not compatible with windows 10 (super old graphics cards). Yet the upgrade prompt continues to appear.

I know the machines aren't compatible because I upgraded one using the nagging prompt and... kaboom.

I agree. I enjoy the content of the site, but having to scroll after reading every couple sentences gets to be annoying. I shrunk the text of an article in order to read it; however, that made the code snippets too small to read. I'd advise them to change the ratio of the code-snippet font size and body font size to something closer to 1.

How is making a dating site for people with HIV/AIDS a "totally stupid" idea? I think there's also a dating site somewhere for people with herpes and other STDS. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Sometimes I worry that there aren't enough inter-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary thinkers. Of course, it may just be because I'm around a lot of academics who seem to be highly specialized.

So maybe my logic is off here... But does it follow that academic performance correlates poorly with workplace success?

Edit: I'm not attempting to justify low grades. Just curious if that could be a valid corollary (not sure if I'm using that word correctly).
