I have anecdotally found this to be true as well, that an LLM greatly accelerates my ramp up time in a new codebase, but then actually leads me astray once I am familiar with the project.

If you are unfamiliar with the project, how do you determine that it wasn't leading you astray in the first place? Do you ever revisit what you had done with AI previously to make sure that, once you know your way around, it was doing it the right way?

I wouldn't consider Google Podcasts a first party app. Even as a Pixel user, I only ever interacted with it by searching for a podcast. I could install it, but it wasn't pre-installed.

I'm not sure but YouTube Music _might_ be pre-installed. I can't recall.

Aldi does pickup through Instacart, and while I know the prices wouldn't be 1:1 - it might be a great source of data for price deltas

You can treat it as a fun 3D Puzzle with step-by-step, or you can do whatever you want with it.

I've been following this company for quite a while because the owner has interesting ideas and considerations when it comes to employment policies etc. Generally seems like a great company.

I'm dismayed not just to hear of Stripe freezing funds suddenly and presumably without real reason, but so many comments saying how common they hear this with Stripe.

Has Stripe been going downhill / the way of Paypal? I don't keep up quite the way I used to, but it used to be that they were the new, greatly improved, best customer service processor.

There's a good difference between the two things, actually.

What I believe this Lawsuit is alleging is that CVS promised ADA that they would give them $10m, and CVS is saying that customer donations are part of that $10m.

The other aspect is the tax aspect. What people are concerned about is that a company is profiting off their "donation" which cannot happen, even if they are merely reimbursing themselves.

In such a scenario, the company gets no financial benefit - though they may get a social benefit in what they're claiming to donate

This is a wildly incorrect approach. Ideally, they would separate the core of what's necessary for any one thing into one composer package, and then everything else into their own (e.g. a youtube package, a drive package, etc.)

This way.. I can see you having a code dependency that needs Drive, but b/c you've cleaned out everything except YouTube it's going to fail - and that's sort of breaking the way Composer is supposed to work.

Google is currently doing a proactive system called "Nest Renew"[1]. This system is more focused on using clean energy vs. dirty energy - at least for me (where there is no rate difference based on time)

Speaking only as an American, I don't think we really know what Crimeans want. Russia isn't well-known for legitimate democratic voting, and the Crimean referendum has never been acknowledged by Western Democracies.

I would not be starkly opposed to Crimean independence, nor even Russian-integration, but in essence it looks like Russia took Crimea and then held a fake referendum to legitimize it.

The benefit of not waiting by being a Tesla customer is a pretty high benefit, but could you imagine that same benefit with ICE vehicles? A gas station that you can't fuel at unless you have a specific brand of car?

This change was and is likely inevitable.
