What are you talking about? The video is free on YouTube. Patreon is just another way of supporting the channel beyond the usual ad-sense, sponsors, etc.

No one is expecting them to make a fortune over night, but it at least shows there is space for new people. This video was actually push into my feed by youtube which is rare for new creators. So they clearly are doing pretty well in the grand scheme of things.

Quite unrelated to the main topic, but shouldn't it be Croydon, London? I have never heard anyone called it London Croydon before. Generally addresses/places go from most specific to least and given Croydon is an area of London it should go first.

I agree, but its tricky as many people seem to not read it and I have seen AI documentation that is so verbose and dense that its almost as useless as not having it. Its a fine line but so long as the AI documentation is reviewed and reasonable then I see no issue.

It maybe a surprise to you, but many people actually enjoy 'music' and don't find it to be just noise.

Great if you are an English speaker. Do we then translate that to every language we need to support? Do we scale the UI to work for the different length words?

I dont think that is any better at all. If anything I think its solidly worse.

British trains are mostly a profit making enterprise for other European nations, rather than an actual public transport network for the people who need it.

(Their are exceptions to this and not all train companies are linked to other countries state owned railways, but many are. They get cheap travel and we get scammed)

Matte ends up with lower contrast because it defuses light and washes things out, especially in bright light. I think LTT did a video a while ago showing that it was actually worse in bright light than a glossy screen.

Does it? As a welsh person it hurts me to say that Wales was never a kingdom in the United Kingdom as its was under English rule for a long time before that came about. You could I guess still use the name, but its weird.

I would love to see England get a devolved government, with all governments getting equal power and the UK government overseeing defense, etc. Sort of like a Federal government.

No, that's not true or fair. The gov.uk contains stuff for all countries not just England. Although it may contain stuff for England that does not have a place elsewhere.

The fact England doesn't have a devolved government is insanity to me, but people were really pissed at Blair when it came time to vote on it... so here we are.

I am not sure I follow your argument. If you are using it for private (ie encrypted) chats then you should not be using it for SMS... I think they have a good point when they say that having SMS there tricks less tech savvy people into think that those messages are secure as well when they are not.

Well yeah.. because they are hidden files. They wouldn't be hidden files if the default wasn't to hide them...

Automated messages are pretty much the only thing I get via SMS. Other than the occasional message from my mum who likes to randomly flip between WhatsApp and SMS depending on which way the wind blows.
