Not my cup of tea personally, but I recommend watching his interview with Lex Fridman for some behind the scenes insight. He comes across as incredible smart and knows exactly what he's doing. Also not afraid to re-invest millions of dollars into producing these videos. Obviously it's very much a for-profit endeavour. Not sure, don't think he's fooling anyone and his accomplishments deserve at least some respect I think.

The game is truley mind blowing. The rules are simple and clear, there are no special hidden tricks, yet almost every puzzle goes from "it's impossible" to "oh didn't think of that". Truley shatters you assumptions over and over.

Hope they can deliver. Right now Apple hardware is silly compared to PC+Nvidia if you wanna play around with GenAI. Both in price and performance. Worst case macs end up as thin-clients, all AI running on Nvidia in the cloud. Would eat into their competive advantage a lot I think.

Orderly, rational people. Hard working, rich country, despite no natural wealth. No cutting corners, one of the reasons bureaucracy is so horrid. You are expected to have your shit together, still people are as lenient as they can be. Things work, you can trust people. Low crime, clean streets. Good sense of morality. The biggest pitfall is DRY imho. Write generic code, reuse abstractions. It's the most elegant way. Except it always tends to lead to these god classes, super systems, that try to be most flexible and to do everything. Then comes the point where it becomes impossible to understand all the interactions and half of your codebase falls apart if anything changes. All because you were to proud to copy & paste a few lines like it's a deadly sin.

Not bad at all. CCP is handling the game well, modernizing the client, UI etc. It's in a pretty good state. But it's also not so much different from what it was 10 years ago. Playing extremly casual these days though, maybe once a week I log in and do a site or something. It's just so relaxing, almost zen, worth the subscription for me. Happy this is still going.

Air Pods Max. Totally worth it. Automatically turns on/off, automatically pairs with the device you're using. Active Noise Cancellation is a godsend, i.e. if you have people with lawnmowers around you, this will improve your life more than anything else you can buy. Effortless to clean. Ear cushions come off and you can just put them into the washing machine. Great build quality, has a nice volume dial with click sounds. Build-in microphones. Sound is top notch too.

Reddit got Digg's business because Digg gambled away all of it's good will. That was a long time ago, Reddit since been going down the same path.
