Love Kokoro tts. I wrote https://github.com/Jud/kokoro-coreml to try pushing the limits a bit on speed & size. Such great quality at a given size. As others have mentioned short utterances are problematic, but solvable.

I always associate downtime like this with a new model rollout. Maybe we are getting Fable back.
Maybe it’s more apparent in the opposite case. Customers who say the item is totally fine, but have shipped back a box of rocks.
This is almost exactly how it _does_ work in big box grocery except there are blanket policies re: disposal for food items. Fwiw, Amazon also has near identical policies for food items.
The realities of a warehouse operation make this inevitable (I’ve run an 8-figure/yr online distributor). Amazon cannot take the customer’s word on return condition. Folks just click “damaged” to get a refund and Amazon has to have warehouse workers, not professional book inspectors, receive the returns and note their condition.
This is good enough since someone buying the used copy can also return it if they disagree.
Similarly as a kid, I was surprised to learn "One-hour Photo" was a brand and didn't necessarily mean your photos would be ready in one hour...
That is the case, but there are no mysql-supplied arm64 packages for ubuntu/debian[0]. Ubuntu/Debian have packages, but maintain their own set of patches, which the docker team would like to avoid using[1].

I see all her other devices, but not keys. Now that I know how it should work, going to see if re-registering the keys changes things.
Interesting. Just one data point, but my wife and I both have airtags on our keys. When I drive her car (and she's not in it), I get a notification about her keys traveling with me. We're on the same iCloud "family" account. I wonder if there’s something else that needs to happen?
Feel free to reach out (email in profile) if you want to chat. I grew an e-commerce distributor to 8-digit revenue with in-house fulfillment and software development.
Edit to add: It can be such an isolating experience. We had no clue what we were doing half the time. Hard to find anyone willing to talk that had been through it.

I saw your comment and implemented the ability to connect a repository of static files and host them on our app platform (Uffizzi.com) -- we have a generous free tier! Email is in my profile if you have any questions or feature requests.
The cost of the rental truck may be the least important piece of this equation. Depending on the pickup shortfall, I could easily see the need for multiple trucks needing to go to each carrier's facility.
You're also going to multiple employees per truck, with at least one being more senior since there could be tens of thousands of dollars in merchandise.
They'll need to get to the carrier facility and make sure the boxes are scanned, because they are now a variable in the transport, and it would look bad if a box went missing and supposedly never made it to the carrier. At the warehouse we have cameras that make it unnecessary to watch the boxes being scanned. Not to mention customers check tracking like hawks and would call and take up support resources wondering about their box that "shipped" but the tracking page says "Fedex is waiting on your box to arrive".
On top of this, carrier pickups are typically scheduled as late as possible. We lobbied heavily for our UPS / Fedex pickups to be 6pm (or later during peak). So you're going to need to send employees to the carrier at 6:30pm or later, dropping the truck off at the warehouse at 7:30 (at the earliest) after loading/unloading/scanning (It was a 15 min drive to the carrier center).
So they're getting home at 8pm, and need to be back at the warehouse at 7am to pick all the orders for the next day.
Seems odd the reporter doesn’t verify the authenticity/quality of the submitted invoices.
Surely he could produce copies for the reporter?
Something like M1 Finance 'pies' could work, but still looks a lot like 'managing a whole bunch of individual stocks'
I had a chat with someone working on a similar product in this space. The problem being solved here is the matching component of charitable giving (which you mentioned).
Turns out, running a matching program at a company is pretty annoying at a certain size. Much less monthly charity stipends, etc.
Withholding from the paycheck would certainly be a great addition in the future, but is not necessary in the MVP to have people pay for the product.
Yea, totally wrong here.
My assumption was that a lot of estate planning would be required to avoid major taxes, but seems like the default choice is a pretty good deal (tax-wise) for those involved.
Good to know!
IRS FAQ on inherited assets is pretty good here:
https://www.irs.gov/faqs/interest-dividends-other-types-of-i...
Without any estate planning, you would pay $0 in capital gains because the basis resets to FMV at the time of death and the sale would be taxed as regular income (37% marginal bracket on $1,000,000 sale).
By my reading, this doesn't seem like a giant tax break.
Edit: Totally wrong. $0 taxes owed because basis is stepped up and sale is NOT treated as income.
Goodness, I just remembered convincing my parents to let me stay home from middle school to watch the unveiling.
The hype was UNREAL.
Yep, the ads. Monetized for maybe 10 years. Some years are much higher $$$ than others.
Search YouTube for askjud to see how it works. It’s been the subject of a few viral videos.
http://askjud.com — I made it when I was 15. It’s pretty terrible, but has made $30k+ over its lifetime.
With instant adaptive capacity, I think quite a few hot key issues are mitigated.

I wouldn’t be so cynical.
It’s important there are vocal leaders showing the sacrifices they are making — otherwise it’s easy for others to pretend it isn’t possible to make the same sacrifice.
A fair criticism of the study, but does not make the case that “no patient on HCQ alone was virus free by day 6”, since that is objectively false by my reading.
Great that we’re looking at the same study! I’m not sure what you mean by:
“No patient was cleared of virus after six days using hydroxychloroquine alone.“
Because the percentages there are 57% Of patients on HCQ alone we’re cleared, vs 12% control.
Are you referring to this study?
https://drive.google.com/file/d/186Bel9RqfsmEx55FDum4xY_IlWS...
Afaikt, 57% patients on HCQ alone were “virologically cleared” by day 6 and 100% on HCQ+Azithromycin were clear By day 6. Compared with ~12% of control group.
It's been mentioned, but a solo-401k would likely allow you larger tax-deferred contributions than a SEP, depending on income (Can defer ~$57k on $200k w/ solo-401k).
I have one at Fidelity, it's free and I would recommend them. Vanguard / Schwab / ETrade offer similar prototype plans.
Since you're in TN, the standard LLC + S-Corp playbook w/ 'reasonable' salary + remaining as distributions isn't going to net very much after state taxes.
You didn't specifically mention a _home_ office, but it becomes valuable if it is your principal place of business. Miles between home office and other offices become deductible. A proportional % of your rent, utilities, and if you owned the home - mortgage interest.
If you're able to max the 401k and are generally young/healthy, you could pick up a high deductible healthcare plan and open an HSA. Fidelity is also one of the best HSA accounts, so that's convenient. After age 65, an HSA basically becomes a Traditional IRA (Except for unfortunate CA/NJ residents). Some folks use the HSA as an emergency fund and pay medical out of pocket, but keep enough receipts that they could withdraw a few months of expenses if needed. (An HSA is basically self-managed, not like an FSA where you have to submit claims and such if you paid out of pocket).
If you open a solo-401k and roll your SEP into it (Fidelity supports this), you can also make a $7k non-deductible contribution to a tIRA and then convert it to a Roth. It won't lower your federal tax, but will build a tax-free retirement base (+ protection from creditors / civil suit). Can also use this as an emergency fund since Roth _contributions_ are able to be withdrawn tax-free.
(If you don't roll the SEP into the 401k, you cannot do non-deductible tIRA -> Roth conversion without paying taxes on earnings of your entire IRA pool).
