Common misconception, the socks you think you're losing are being found by other people's washers.
"Why did you hire some hobo from behind a Wendy's for corporate consulting?"
They mean that juniors have bills to pay, too.
Yes, of course.
Have you seen his recent Bloomberg appearance? He's calm, collected, and matter-of-fact -- the complete opposite of how he presents himself on his newsletter and podcasts, but with the same argument. You wouldn't know from listening to him how spicy he usually is.
I'm not saying it was aliens, but...
_I_ certainly expected it, but what about the people who make budgeting decisions for this sort of thing? Or those who think LLMs are the greatest thing since sliced bread?
Title truncated slightly to fit HN limits.
The author must be hungry.
Is writing it by hand the old-fashioned way not on the table?
I just completed a high-impact output session and executed a thorough post-process cleanup to ensure maximum operational excellence.
See if you can guess what I really did!
I love the concept, but am struggling to understand the rules. I'm cofounding a startup and expect to learn and operate this stuff for a while, so I'll definitely check in every so often!
The link is a 404...
If anyone here happens to be immortal, how will you plan around this?
How would that even be enforced?
Are there specific policies that come to mind?
They'll never see it coming!
You're telling me...
I adore this game.
There's a secret treasure hunt spread across all 50 games, too! Here's a hint to get you started. On the main menu, pause and open the in-game terminal. Enter the string `GREG-MILK`. The console's output will give you a hint of which game has the next clue.
Good luck!
I think I had an aneurysm.
I'm working on a screen reader/narration service for retro games, called groan. https://github.com/JesseTG/groan It's still in development, but I intend to post more about it once I fix some related bugs in RetroArch.
What got my attention was the novelty of receiving a message like this through a third-party platform (not counting social media). I get plenty of actual "Nigerian prince"-type spam.

I’m a software engineer that specializes at the place where systems programming, usability, and automation meet. You want something to run on different platforms? I'm your guy. You want it to come with clear, easy-to-understand documentation? I'm your guy. You want to turn a five-step deployment process into one step? I'm your guy.
My most recent project that exemplifies these skills is melonDS DS https://github.com/JesseTG/melonds-ds, a wrapper around a Nintendo DS emulator that makes it easier to use than most other emulators.
