Just to add - this particular supermarket wasn’t fully down, it took ages for them to press “sub total” and then pick the payment method. I suspect it was slow waiting for a request to timeout perhaps

Currently standing in a half closed supermarket because the tills are down and they cant take payments

Sometimes when I'm drifting off, before I start dreaming I get this weird vibrating sensation, accompanied by a sensation that things are progressively getting more intense. It usually causes me to jolt myself awake out of fear. When I can push through it and stay asleep I usually end up having a lucid dream. I wonder if this is the same thing?

[dead] 7 years ago

Just stumbled across this myself, not sure if it's related but hotukdeals.com is down and so is downdetector.co.uk

Here's a little Node web app I came up with on a rainy Sunday.

I found an API offered by a company that manages the printing of photo canvases and decided to try to hook it up.

To take things one step further I also linked it up to Unsplash as a source of the images and Amazon S3 for storage.

Unfortunately I think the prices offered by the canvas printing API service are a bit too steep, so I'm actively seeking alternatives!

Would be great to get some feedback!

Personally I think PeerJS is a much more mature, robust and better documented solution.

http://peerjs.com/

Last time I checked PeerJS also provides support for handling TURN/ICE/STURN.

Well, I wasn't expecting that!

Actually made me laugh a little, nice!

I wonder if the gameplay in Dots was already taken from something that was open source?

If not, I agree completely - the whole "make a square to remove all of a colour" mechanic is in there too..

Zop 11 years ago

This looks identical to "Dots", an app on the app store, but I guess there could of been versions of the game before that.

I'd be interested to know who created the original.
