These are very important factors to keep in mind, even if the absolute numbers seem small. Expensive electricity makes everything else more expensive as well. It touches every facet of our lives in a way not even food does.

It has to be noted that in most EU countries electricity for business is quite cheaper than for households.

Sounds like a "shortage of (quality) labor" problem. Industrial products are great, but craftsmanship is lacking because almost nobody can afford it.

I'm often surprised how well it still goes with the complexity of modern aircraft.

Most of that "complexity" are systems that help the pilots, reduce workload and possibility of error. It's really hard to crash a modern airliner.

It also complicates the practical application of the hat in some decorative contexts, where extra work would be needed to manufacture both a shape and its reflection
