Am I the only believing it should be a free market, where each company follows the strategy it prefers?

Let the market decide if repairability is desired or not. If customers really want it, certainly there will be companies offering it.

Much better to have millions voting with their money and purchases than a few bureaucrats deciding how they believe things should be.

I decided to do it to get healthier. There is overwhelming scientific evidence that fasting for long periods is good for you and that living by on 1200 cal per day increases your lifespan by 5 to 10 years.

I lost a lot of weight, feel much better, and save money and time every day now.

I run a couple of ad-based websites. The largest one being https://www.dailywritingtips.com

The key aspect to estimate how much you can earn is the page RPM you can get.

The average I have seen across my sits is around $2. Some niches have lower RPMs (e.g., programming, in my case at least). Some niches have much higher. I had a site about investing in gold that had $12 page RPM on average, if I remember well.

In your case, I believe the number would be higher than $2000 per month if you reach 1 million visitors. I am guessing twice as much at least.

Brazil is years behind the US in terms of startup culture. There are very few promising startups, even fewer experienced investors, and to top it all the bureaucracy is terrible. Just consider that you would need to wait between 30 to 60 days just to get your business license.

Not coincidentally my goal is to move to the US as soon as possible.

That all being said, there are also some opportunities here. The country is huge (200+ million), so the internal market is big enough to fuel a startup growth. Second, quite often it's possible to merely clone something that is working in the US here. Some people did that with Groupon, for instance, and they made a lot of money.

Feel free to send me an email if you decide to come here. I'll be glad to show you around (contact details on my profile).
