Please don't break Mint's UI/UX. It's the only one that works like Windows.

From a branding standpoint, when I saw the name, my first thought is that this was a cloud solution from Ubisoft. I'm not sure if that's a positive.
Ah, thank you, that explains it. It's not that you're sharing "quotes" then; I would suggest that you advertise it as "hand-written messages".
This is a nice thought, I hope it helps people. Other QOTD services exist for free, so I'm not sure I see the value in the paid subscription. Can you explain that to me?
No.
This doesn't work in Pale Moon 32.5.0 on Win10x64. Please review your development platforms.
It would be interesting if you could list what the restaurant was replaced by.
NJIT had some cool grease trucks. I remember going there for a gaming minicon once and the lunch was much better than anything I could have expected. I went to MSU, so I wasn't as close to it as some; but I remember the food.
I'm glad to see this, and it looks like you're also building a new engine. I appreciate that and look forward to your success.
Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't own the pinball game - that was a Maxis production, one table from Full Tilt! pinball. Go talk to EA.
Discord is a private company, you can't host the software yourself, and the company behind it is questionable at best. I would suggest if you're doing anything internal, Slack is the closest, but whenever possible, IRC or something self-hosted is better. There's a lot of risk involved in using a Discord - at best it should be a public-facing PR tool which is strictly and constantly moderated.
We have always been at war with Eastasia.
I tried to get interested in Gemini, I really did. The problem is that a lot of it is self-hosted, and there isn't really a great index or search engine that I've seen. That self-hosting means I'm locked out of participating for the time being, and the lack of search means it's hard for me to find anything of real value.
I want to see it grow. But right now, it's inferior in my eyes to even the current Gopher hole hosters online today.
If you can do something to implement anything from ReactOS, so that a user can natively execute Windows/DOS software alongside *nix, it would be something of value.
Nothing to sweat, except money, of course. Not everyone has an open-ended budget.
I've been trying to use Gemini via Lagrange Browser several times, but I've never found a site a or a use-case that sticks. What sites do you use on Gemini, and how is it best to find new content there?
They absolutely do, and I honestly get annoyed when ECMAScript gets misnamed. If you're putting a virtual machine with pseudocode into my browser, I want your applet gone.
Mindustry is an excellent game, and I love the amount of work that the dev has been putting into it. In the time I've played it, the single-player content has deepened significantly - from a mostly-linear campaign to almost an entire world to play with; then on to a second planet with a different play style.
I have to stand in awe of people who are both creative and able to manifest that into creative products.
Always be prepared for alien invasion
I find the concept interesting, but I see no reason to spend money when platforms with larger communities only want easily-obfuscated personal data or easily-blocked advertising impressions. If anything, the number of sites which are advertising themselves as "like Reddit, except..." today is proof that Advance Media (and Spez) are right in exerting their influence over Reddit's users and their channels of engagement.
When you pump it up with VC money, you get Reddit all over again.
A nice idea, but my opinion is that we need to openly boycott all of Advance Media's holdings and investments. Don't go off Reddit for a few days and watch something owned by Warner Discovery, or read Epicurious for recipes to cook while you "wait". Hit every rev stream they have. This isn't just about Reddit's IPO, this has to be about permanently breaking the back of a media conglomerate.
Did you not see the Maxim "photoshoot"? Lara and Aki Ross from Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within were both covergirls of Maxim, rendered in underwear or swimwear. Or, perhaps you disregard the fact that the most persistent rumor about Tomb Raider 1 & 2 was the "nude code"?
Lara Croft was the nerd equivalent of Marilyn Monroe and Madonna, at the same time. She was the gaming sex symbol.
It is green.
You mean like A Mind Forever Voyaging?
I hate to continue being the lazy end-user on this, but it comes up in my mind every time that Purism or a Librem phone comes up. I don't know how to set it up as an actual phone, and it's expensive for a miniature tablet. I've never seen a thing that says, "do this to get it working on Tracfone".
Until there's an easy guide for end-users to interact with so they can use it on a BYOD plan, it's of little value.
ML of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood?
Nethack already has a wonderful GUI. Characters are graphical (if it's on the screen, it's a graphic), and there's plenty of tiles you can use.
If I need anything important, I use Million Short, cut the top million sites, and usually also do -fandom.com for the searches I run.
