Isn't the Canadian government currently building and refurbishing some of the largest dams in the world just north of there in British Columbia? I wonder how the impacts compare to the dams being decommissioned in the article.

Tesla uses the the tri-motor system from the Models S/X Plaid on one axle of the Semi, which seems both dangerous and needless, given the lack of concern among Semi users for quick acceleration

Jay Leno did an interview with one of the Tesla Truck engineers the other week, I believe he mentioned each axle is geared differently. One specifically for highway speeds and the other one disconnects for optimal efficiency once up to speed.

We started migrating our data to Wave a couple years ago, then it was purchased by H&R Block so we cancelled, I haven't seen it mentioned much since the acquisition.

I use freshbooks for my small business (timekeeping, expenses, invoicing) and I just received notice my annual subscription fee will be increased from $270/yr to $324/yr.

Not only have they not added any new features to justify this fee increase, but they have actually removed a few features that I depended on like multi-currency reports. I am actively looking for an alternative.

From what I have heard from colleagues there are so many applications coming in for open job postings the hiring managers are applying generic filters just to make the numbers manageable. Using filters like location, so even if you have 15 years exp with perfect matching skillset your resume may still not even be viewed by human eyes because you are located > 20 miles from the office etc... I think the market is just saturated/brutal right now.
