To add to this, shamelessly self-promoting, Notebooker (https://github.com/man-group/notebooker) is a neat way of scheduling your Jupyter notebooks as parametrisable reports whose results are presented in a little web GUI (either as static HTML, PDF, or as reveal.js slideshow renders)
Alternative data is non-financial data which can be tied to various securities.
Financial data, for example, would be EUR USD spot prices. Non-financial data (i.e. "alternative data") could be healthcare reports which you could theoretically couple to e.g. pharma stocks.
But I guess the City of London needs to get their financial "tips" somehow...

I have used jupytext (https://github.com/mwouts/jupytext) for this and it seems to work great - it outputs a separate .py file which is easily diff-able.

Not sure I agree with the terminology of the article (fast rather than quickest accelerating), but I thought this quote was special:

Um, not really. It means that we are applying the law, not meddling... The prime minister doesn't get to decide what she wants to do regardless of whether it can pass in the commons, and an advisory referendum is certainly not legally binding.

I would be careful about this. Could definitely be used for bullying by kids - would suggest you come up with a strong mechanism/policy for banning users!

I think people with experience in the field are just annoyed with her poorly-conceived assertions at the end, e.g. "This has got to be some of the worst jargon and notation for anything, ever." rather than pedantry.

Sync for reddit is very good! I have very few issues with it and it has the feature you mentioned out of the box.
This is nice - I hadn't even considered anybody but Labour/Conservative and this gave some flavour as to where their focuses lie. Disappointed that none of them want to expand LHR though.
This will be very interesting. The European champion is a 2-dan, whereas the World champion is a 9-dan. While Google beat the 2-dan 5-0, a 9-dan is expected to win 95% of games versus a 2-dan.
