The guardian does have a semi-paywall in that you can either share your personal data with them or pay. Which in my opinion is a breach of the GDPR but apparently the UK ICO has said it’s fine. Yet another toothless/useless organisation

FYI. Ryobi has nothing to do with Home Depot. It's owned by a Hong Kong power tool manufacturer, and used to be Japanese (in fact, Ryobi still exists as a tool manufacturer, just not the power tool division)

This sounds very much like Apple being maliciously compliant. Similar to their complaint against Epic Games... I'd be interested to see what the EU makes of this.

I would say Bevy isn't really similar to Unity. Something like Fyrox - https://fyrox.rs/ - would be more similar. Bevy is more low level and lacks an editor (as of now, it's planned)

The issue here isn't just with free users, it mainly affects users who are already paying fees to Unity

Not sure exactly how to do it (not used mercurial in a long time), but I extracted the repository tarball to a directory then used hg clone to make the code usable/readable

Was the original BERT formatting from the Hub or from something inside the Gateway's network? I always associated BERT with Erlang, do you know if it was involved or if it was something else?

NGINX doesn't differentiate enough from the other HTTP servers out there to justify the cost.

This is exactly how the PS4 real name system works. You have to add a friend as a "real name" friend, and they have to add you back with the same permissions. Just adding someone as a friend doesn't grant them permission to see your real name.

Both files appear identical to me. Which is odd, since there is only 1 CNAME to an address with 1 A record. Perhaps your version of static.php.net is cached by your ISP?

A problem I have with JS web apps, is that "cool URIs don't change" [1]. While querystrings are a server-side convention, the ability to convert a server-side site into JS without having to rewrite all the old URLs is much more important to me than inventing new URL schemes just for JS apps...

Why is it funny that their FAQ has an answer for Celsius? It's pretty much only the US that uses Fahrenheit for temperatures, the rest of the modern world uses celsius to display temperature. That coupled with the fact that Panic are a renowned Apple-based developer, should indicate really that there's likely no chance of getting a Panic-developed Android version.

If it's free and you don't like it, don't use it and move on.
