Wouldn't the reduced size only mean that there would be fewer politicians to pay off? If you mean that a smaller government equals a government with no power, then why have a government at all?
This is true, but it doesn't just get there by magic. There's still need for "real programmers" behind the scenes.

It's due to the hidden menu, same drill with Office 2010 and finding "Save As.." etc, I've never been much for just using the keyboard, I like using the mouse to navigate the menus ;)
I find that disturbing, one of the first things I do after a clean install of windows is to check the "Show Hidden Files", which was hard to find in Windows 7 :/ I thought most tech savvie people did that?

I have 1.5GB of RAM and I usually have ~15-20 tabs open without any performance hits on chrome, (including Eclipse, Skype, filezilla calc, evernote etc etc open). Maybe there's something wrong with your install?

I don't think you have to worry about getting stuck due to the cold, I don't think the phone will get cold enough for that to happen.

I haven't seen any hype surrounding google+ except for HN and other similar communities. I don't think the regular FB user is even aware that google+ is in testing phase, or that google is even working on anything like it. Heck, how many have heard of google wave outside of the geek circle?
And with some tax planning no company would pay any tax... It's pretty easy to hide profits in the books
I guess they did follow the rules, as it was just after Israel sent a demand for the app to be pulled from the market that it got pulled. That to me says that it was approved by apple... OTOH it could've slipped passed the review board
I read the article, where exactly did it state that they "hate the west and all it stands for". Popular political figures like to repeat it, but I have yet to hear it from someone that isn't from the west...

Well I live in Sweden where DVDs/Blue Rays are quite expensive, but still the domestic film industry is still mostly junk. I don't think one factor has much relevance to the other ;)
So you can help out with bandwidth when downloading media (TED talks for example). Back when I used miro that was what I used it for at least.
What I really don't understand is how Apple can do this due to the face that Amazon won't (and can't) sell any "Apple app store apps" on their store, so they won't be a competitor. For me it's if a company that produces patches to repair bicycle tubes called their product for "band aid", same idea but different markets.

well during a wine tasting competition in sweden the winner managed to not only name all wines, she also managed to say which region AND producer it was. So yes if you make the same test with experts the result would be quite different.
And most expensive wines need to mature before you enjoy them, if you uncork them right away it won't be a very pleasant experience.
yeah the Tokaji Eszencia is expensive. But on the other hand you should be able to easily distinguish the Eszencia in a blind test due to the viscosity
