We have a beautiful web app, used every day by hundreds of people at ASOS, Gilt Groupe, Target, Gap and more. Our engineering team is made up of some really clever people, solving diverse and interesting problems on a daily basis, like image analysis, big data visualisation and many others. I am not a big coffee drinker, but I think people who are into their coffee might like to know where exactly your coffee is coming from, if it's fair trade etc. So this is some information you might want to put on your landing page.

Also, maybe make it a bit more obvious what countries are eligible for deliveries? Currently I can only see this information in the drop down when placing an order, but making it a bit more obvious might help. For example, I would not expect to be able to get this in Belgium, so would be inclined to think just after looking at the landing page "Meh, sounds good but I bet it's just for the US/UK", close tab.

Although very basic, this is really nice - the wonders of NLTK! You explain your algorithm in very simple terms so kudos for that.

It might be a good idea to put this in a GitHub repository rather than a simple gist maybe? I am sure there will be plenty of people (including myself) interested in contributing, it's much easier doing it on a repository rather than a gist :)

JavaScript sky rocketing makes the most sense as more and more companies are keen to delve into the Node.js world.

Not surprised at all to see EC2 falling, the only slight surprise would be Rails falling.

This looks interesting and could potentially be very useful for understanding how a Backbone application runs behind the scenes. I will give it a go once GitHub is back up again as it seems to be playing up.

I do not understand why GitHub get attacked so often - honestly it's not like they are doing anything wrong, they are a fabulous service and the go-to place for most (if not all) developers for all sorts of projects, be it open source or in an enterprise/corporate context.

I second that, Cloudflare is the way to go - extremely reliable.

Very cool - I am sure a lot of people will get good use out of it. Rather surprised nothing like this already existed.
