Warren Buffet for some time said that he thought Apple was undervalued. I have no idea what he currently thinks, but it is probably still a reasonable value.

He currently owns ~5% of the company.

No. Work is a hobby for me. I enjoy the process of working, progressing, doing something. I don't really have any other hobbies that I wish I could be doing all day. We have to have something to wake up and do everyday, otherwise life is very boring and just a waiting game until the end of our days.

If people don't enjoy their work, their mission should be to keep looking until they find something that suits them. It's worth the effort finding something that you enjoy doing everyday.

While I do agree that the culture at Uber was toxic and ultimately Travis was to blame for that, on a human level I do feel for the guy. At the end of the day, he just lost his mother and now also his life's work for the foreseeable future. And damn that must suck.

I think you said it yourself, "We have a dedicated engineering team who take care of this". I assume the goal of Floyd is to eliminate the need to build such teams and reduce cost of this type of effort. This indeed seems to be the goal of most SaaS/PaaS startups.

Humanity moves on its way naturally because it is made up of individuals. If none of those individuals did anything useful or never "moved mountains", humanity would never move forward or progress.
