I asked a local instance of Qwen3.5 122b: "American indie rock/pop band that formed in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 2001 best known for their eclectic musical style, whimsical lyrics, and distinctive visual aesthetic involving matching colored ties and hats?"

Got this back "The band you are describing is Tally Hall.

Formed by friends at the University of Michigan, they became well-known in the mid-2000s internet era for their songs like "Good Day" and "Rooftops," as well as their signature look where each member wore a suit with a tie and fedora in a specific color (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Black/White)."

Update: The gpt-oss-120b also got it correct on my prompt version. Update 1: Llama 3.1 70B gets it right as well. Update 2: Deepseek V4 Flash gets it right. Update 3: Glm 4.5 Air gets it right as well

Can't seem to get any smaller models to get it.

So seems it could be an issue of data points on which the model can latch onto, the more the merrier, as they say. When asked the "What was that weird band from michigan from the 2000s that wore coloured ties" was not able to get it right.

Reading this thread I realized something, I am just as annoyed with the upsells but have I e-mailed them and communicated my dissatisfaction with the family plan upsell popup instead of online ranting? No. I am wondering how many others did?

I'm gonna write them.

My system prompt that works great, you can apply minor adjustments on case by case basis, good start:

Write in textbook style prose, without headings, no tables, no emojis.

The best part of this is the typing for a system command once you right click a file, helps a lot to quickly get to items I need to run on the file. Microsoft should done something like this in W11 instead of the shitty extra menu nonsense and many other annoyances on W11.

Microsoft, watch out for "garage" people like vjekoslav here.

Here's an interesting one. Not affiliated with them, just came across the website earlier today and was impressed by the way they integrated their people with the menu, it both makes one curious to check the entire menu, and also respects the team, you kind of feel they are actually part of a team and it gives the feeling of dealing with real people throughout. Well executed!

I haven't seen this idea before and thought you'd appreciate it.

This documentary explores this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l11zPNb-MFg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aftermath:_Population_Zero

Aftermath: Population Zero - The World without Humans What would happen if, tomorrow, every single person on Earth simply disappeared? Not dead, simply gone, just like that. A world without people, where city streets are still populated by cars, but no drivers. A world where there is no one to fix bridges or repair broken windows…

It simply means the customer has the ability to do so if the customer considers adjustments, that is still his/her right and I don't want to prevent it from being able to happen, just I don't offer it. I find that very reassuring both from it being clearly stated upfront and from the ability being offered through providing the actual vector file and the rights.

Haha, nice, you know what else is hidden, treasures :)

But the slow loading is not cool and shouldn't happen given how I am also employing an media CDN in the mix. Since you are the only one mentioning, I suspect it might be an issue at your end. The post reached front page at some point and no indication of trouble on the hosting end. Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback.

I've noticed the switch on mobile and I cannot figure out why yet (the wonders of CSS), it will come around eventually, I didn't want to hold back just for that, you know how many things never see the light of day due to misplaced perfectionism. Been guilty of it myself "back in the day" and it's part of the growing pains.

In terms of the refunds/revisions, when one does this for 25 years, one starts to see patterns, my best designs were when the customer was not "playing designer" with requests that often don't make sense from the design point of view and let me do my job, that puts me in the mindset of "what would I do if this was MY business" and thus leads to a better design.

Basically, I positioned myself to be able to provide my best, thus remove the concerns around refunds and revisions, unleash one's true potential is in the best interest of my customer.

The reason for this is due to using GIF and I had to strike a balance between choppiness (frame rate) and file size. If I make it mp4's, on some browsers they don't automatically play. If you enter some of the animations (with red arrow), on the inner page things are more smooth as I mp4 them since the user can easily play there if needed compared to clicking on all the smaller ones on the parent page.

Something along these lines was considered but I decided against it because it might cause confusion, the user might think this is yet another AI chatbot etc thus figured this would be better, for the user to be in full control of the next step. I definitely see you point.

Thank you for your feedback.
