In my experience, you can clean up your feed of unwanted content pretty quickly. Just go to discover and long tap > "Not Interested" on the stuff that's of the genre you want to filter out of your life.

I do this every couple months with IG babes & thot accounts to keep my feed free of sexual imagery. Works a charm.

I'm not in the habit of checking in on individual media outlets, but when I see content from WSJ, Bloomberg, or The Information on any of the above aggregators, I generally like what I see.

They really miss an opportunity to say WHY anywhere on the landing page, instead going straight to: "Chrome is bad. Here's some alternatives."

Your perspective might seem overly cynical to some.

As a counterpoint: it's funny/playful, it speaks to their niche, and it speaks to the utility/functionality of their product.

This doesn't make economic sense.

If I create a piece of art that many people can enjoy, why shouldn't I get compensated for adding that value to their lives?

Same is true for software.

I straddle the communities of tech/startups an the "digital nomad" world, and feel similarly when I go to dense nomad hubs (particularly Chiang Mai).

Too much of one thing gets old really fast.
