It's not strange at all, Ableton sucks. Anyway the different MPCs are laid out slightly differently but so were Roger's. He will completely destroy the competition if he teams back up with Akai. This especially includes Ableton. Which sucks.

With all the components for everything being made in China already, it's inevitable that they will just realize they can, themselves, assemble everything there with their own concerns. It's just the natural progression of moving the industry offshore. Western companies can still own the brand names and take a couple percent profit off them, the Kodak model.

He pointed out that all the buttons and important controls are right where and how he designed them to be on his MPCs. He said they got the workflow and timing down perfectly. Did you watch the review?

A lot of musicians think Ableton kind of sucks.

Obviously nobody can trust The Science any more, too much big money involved. The best you can do is try to keep up with bro-science, which is often decades ahead of The Science, and avoid any new chemicals, food additives, drugs or therapies for several decades until we learn if they're really, actually safe or not by observing what happens to the guinea pigs called the general public. At this point we've all seen enough evidence to have destroyed either some, or all trust in The Science, anybody left using Science Juice or Science Gas or Science Pills either doesn't care, or wouldn't even if they knew.

Graphics software was solved decades ago, if graphics professionals can't move as comfortably between these alternatives as easily as a construction worker can move between two nearly identical hammers, they have a skill issue. Adobe users have some of the worst Stockholm Syndrome in the tech world, and they should be scorned and mocked the same as MS and Apple users. You'll eat what you're served. What are you going to do, take your business elsewhere?

It's time to move from coddling to tough love.

Nobody wants to prop up the board's other investments in commercial real estate and nobody has to care that they're losing their shirts either. Make big cities safe and clean and affordable again, or they will just rot away and collapse in on themselves. I've been reading about the terrible situation in commercial real estate especially in large cities which are unaffordable and crime-ridden, it sounds like there's no escape for the people who have their wealth trapped inside the walls of buildings nobody wants to visit.
