For amps, that strongly depends on your personal taste, but usually you go used. For example, if you’re into metal, you can get Peavey ValveKings for low $, they just require a good speaker. There are also several cheap clones available. YouTube has you covered with demos.

Also, digital amps have become good enough, even those software only, for example GarageBand. You just need some audio interface.

I’ve seen several videos by reputable fixers that demonstrate empty NANDs working fine with DFU factory restore. Same situation on Mn MacBooks.

Would be weird in the actual mass production process if the flash would need to be pre-programmed somehow; one DFU process IMO must be able to do everything needed.

„Normal“ people will not read this, nor be able to understand, nor gauge or grasp the impact. It’s become way to complex. We can’t simply stop using mentioned services anymore as a society.

Wouldn’t it be more reasonable to teach:

1. You have no privacy, it is impossible to ensure or guarantee privacy, and there’s no incentive at all for anyone to ensure privacy. (Scott McNeally of Sun said that already in the late 1990s)

2. There is no security and every kind of security has been, was designed to, or will be compromised.

3. All your digital information is already public or will become public at some point. (btw: Every top-tier consultancy operates under that assumption)

Safari Tab Groups are cool, also there is Toby, a tab grouping extension for chrome. Both sync across devices.

I truly wonder why people still believe they have any privacy, any right to privacy, or, that they could do anything about it.

Sun Microsystems‘ Scott McNealy was vocal about this already in the late 1990s: „you have no privacy, get over it“

Look, even if you were able to get FAANG et al. to honor privacy, there will always be the one player that does not. Then, the people who write privacy laws have no clue what they are doing. Plus, I’ve seen software professionals copy/pasting encryption algorithms that contain errors from stackoverflow into production code.

It’s time to face reality, this ship has sailed, stop whining, finally start adapting to an environment without privacy: Treat all your data as if they would become public one day.

Use your energy to teach others to be tech literate to understand what this means, how to deal with this and how to behave.

Tried this for hours: won’t really work with Luna DisplayPort on 2014 MacMini and iPad Pro. Also, does not support the keyboard on the iPad. Their support was very slow and disappointing, quoting only what’s already on the website. Luckily got the device for a few quod on eb*y.
