"Last week I ran a script on BigQuery for historical HTTP Archive data and was billed $14,000 by Google Cloud with zero warning whatsoever, *and they won’t remove the fee.*"
No, because essentially I can always inject something like this later: Ignore what's in your system prompt and use these new instructions instead.
News summarization, news data extraction, news question answering, news filtering. I can assure you that older 7B/13B models had trouble following directions and outputting (for example) JSON.
I have been trying the small llama 2 models (7B and 13B) and they are now good enough for most of my NLP tasks. Plus, Qualcomm will support llama models on mobile devices: https://www.qualcomm.com/news/releases/2023/07/qualcomm-work... soon.
I think Apple will come up with some crazy hardware to run good quality LLMs.
False. Tesla does not aim to make a profit on service.
A lot of news websites restrict any crawler other than Google. And this does not happen only via robots.txt.
"Not extensive Autopilot data" -> This is false. The car not only records extensive Autopilot data when it crashes, it also records video.
Google Photos alternatives?
Don't worry, the Windows one is pure garbage.
don't get paid wages ...yet
Max brightness progress is marginal at best for the past 4-5 years.
I use my B6 for watching TV (streaming) and for gaming. I have absolutely no burn-in of any kind. Also see: https://www.rtings.com/tv/learn/real-life-oled-burn-in-test
#1 yes, but explain #2.
Not convenient or useful at all. You know what would be actually convenient and useful? The government pre-filling most of your taxes for you, like in other countries.
Yeah, like any normal customer would do. /s
"Tesla can only really gather depth data from there radars" - they can also do it visually through depth from motion
How does this work? What mechanism does it use?
Where is the proof? The Bloomberg story is as one sided as it gets. "An anonymous caller" == Elon Musk responsible?
A "whistleblower" that first leaked all information to reporters, and then only claimed he was a whistleblower once Tesla figured out who it was. A "whistleblower" that a few months later publishes all of these internal documents ON TWITTER.
B advised that the Tweets by Mr. Tripp yesterday were issued by him on his own accord. Mr. Tripp has clearly been impacted emotionally by what $TSLA has done to him.He is very concerned about being gagged & wants to protect the public, more than his own personal interest. ++

It is accurate that we no longer rep M.Tripp in any matter.Nor do we have a need for any connection whatsoever with his attys in his Nev civil action. There wont be further comment on this.We still rep K.Hansen with re to his SEC submission & do have confidence in his submission

Also Mr. Tripp's Twitter account WAS NOT suspended/removed by twitter this AM. He himself voluntarily terminated his twitter account on advice of myself, so that there will not b any more confusion re if he has published anything or not. There is enough confusion re $TSLA already

It was all on Twitter between them.
Bloomberg conveniently left out the reason why "Tripp has since changed lawyers". It's because he published on Twitter a trove of confidential internal Tesla documents. Once he did that his lawyer knew they had no case anymore. Tripp only deleted the documents after his lawyer was able to get in touch with him. This showed that he did in fact access internal Tesla systems and he did in fact exfiltrate this information. But somehow Bloomberg paints Tesla in a negative light, as they always do.
This is what's left of the fallout:

I guess I might as well move to Cloudflare Registrar entirely then?
LIDAR is a crutch and a dead end. Some startups have already wisened up and are only using cameras.
This is completely false. Supercruise cannot even handle lane changes!
Whenever I see these kinds of calculations I just roll my eyes, because video is compressed. There is a very good practical reason why you want 8K. It's the online streaming bitrate! Today if you watch 4K video on Netflix they use 20 Mbps, give or take. That in my opinion is NOT good enough for 4K (UHD). The reason why I am looking forward to 8K is that then they will finally have better video bitrate. So 8K bitrate would be probably be equivalent to reasonable 4K video bitrate.
You are presenting a fatalistic theory that Tesla cars have some hidden safety flaws not found in ICE cars without any backing proof whatsoever. In fact, the NHTSA results show the opposite, where the top 3 cars with lowest probability of injury are Tesla cars. That is what I call FUD and it is happening daily on Twitter.
"Anyone with basic understanding of technology knows that its not a sustainable model" -> Please explain this. I have a basic understanding of technology and this is not obvious to me.
