Thanks for this, from a friend on the other side of the political spectrum.

Awesome video, that looks like a super power, ordering a set of roller blades now.
A secondary argument is it's time efficient, results come fast and you get the most health and strength benefits with the least amount of time investment compared to say low impact aerobic regiment such as biking. I've done both and have to say I agree that starting strength method is optimal for busy professionals. Also lifting heavy weights is strength training and cardio training. You can't lift heavy weights without getting a cardio workout at the same time.
Hate hate hate starting strength, been doing it 4 years, you will hate it as much as anything in your life. But the results are fantastic!
what is an IC? it means integrated circuit to me.
Relay is so good I've never tried any alternatives
Being self made is irrelevant, all that matters is society benefited from the value that Microsoft produced, and he was enriched accordingly. It's not complicated. Who cares if he had a leg up. Should we think any less of SpaceX because Elon had rich parents. Progress is hard, we need to welcome it how ever it comes, and reward those who produce.
It doesn't matter if he was the son of Warren Buffet. He flipping made Microsoft let him keep his billions he earned them. I guarantee, if 99% of the population were born under the same circumstances, they could not produce a Microsoft.

Looting? Vandalism? Rioting? Violence? Failure of local government to do anything about it?
So it's Robinhood's fault somehow?? Holee fuk. This is why we can't have nice things.
I remember seeing a google talk on data center innovations; efficiency and environmental impact. Specifically mentioned was the purchase of barges for a prototype datacenter. The advantages were free cooling from the ocean which would be maximized by submerging all the servers in oil to conduct heat. Sorry to lazy to pull up the source, but I thought that was what all these barges were for.
But you need to factor efficiency into that. If the top speed of the chopper is 100mph, versus 10mph for the drone. Then you can cover a much larger area quickly, furthermore a helicopter can stay up longer and has much greater range. So it's not enough to say a heli costs x/per hour therefore drones. Kind of like saying trash trucks are expensive, therefore we should replace them with wheel barrows.
From the article: We were asked to search a large area of farmland with the drone. I covered three-quarters of it using three batteries, and the last quarter was a little too far for me to get good first-person view reception
Landing to change batteries every couple of minutes, is a serious blow to efficiency.
There is still the possibility that the plane belly landed and the survivors are floating around in life rafts. It doesn't follow that because the flight terminated in the indian ocean, it crashed.
The solution is ctrl-left click (in chrome) so articles open in a new tab in the background, queue up everything you want to read before reading the articles, simple.
