You should stop making YC responsible for what any single portfolio company is doing. That's straight out hilarious. After the firms are out of batch they are independent and autonomous organizations.
That's the minimum deposit. You keep the money 100%, and can then start investing it.

Growth is the most convincing metric. If you have growth, you will get funding. So how to get growth? Build something users want/like. How to know what they want/like? Talk to them. Build. Talk. Build. Talk.

Interesting that one YC company publicly attacks another YC company. I thought there's at least some "family" vibes there, instead of bitching each other now.
THIS. A million times this. The world is about solving real user problems. And obviously this code solves a huge 20M USD problem. And the code is obviously so good, that even 3 "bozos" (to use your language) can manage and maintain in for decades. This is the holy grail. I wouldn't change a thing and instead ask: how can you make this generate 40M USD a year? This is how you will add real value to the company, and management will love you.
Happy that Microsoft lost the mobile wars. So just wait 10 years and Windows will be gone anyway.
