It absolutely gets better.

I took a heroic shroom dose and had a life alteringly bad experience. It left me a shell of my former self dealing with crippling anxiety and worse for years.

It got better with time, therapy, and focusing on health and wellness.

Professional help can really be a major catalyst for healing.

I have now fully recovered, feel better than ever and have a great life.

People must realize there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

We have known for years that erosion is far greater from tilled soil than from ungrazed or wildlife grazed rough native pastures. The evidence comes from many erosion plots around the world where you mark off a plot of maybe 20 yards by 20 yards and put a V shaped funnel arrangement at the lower end and weigh what you catch washed out over say a year.

But there are lots of other questions. We don’t have much data on rates of soil formation from underlying rock and moisture. And the problem is that actually many of the world’s best soils are the product of erosion. Often, when fields get eroded, the soil just moves downhill to another location. The Nile delta in Egypt and the Ganges plains in India are excellent soils that came from erosion in other places over millions of years.

They are right that zero till usually somewhat reduces erosion. But this technology is under threat because people claim that the herbicide Roundup used before direct seeding causes cancer. ( The evidence for that is very shaky. A large US study of about 40,000 professional Roundup applicators contracted by farmers, who must have had a high level of contact with it, had no higher cancer rates including lymphoma than the average.) Also, farmers, who use a lot themselves, are probably the healthiest demographic in the world.

It’s a complex story.

Adobe is a nasty, predatory company. They charged me like $200 just for the ability to cancel my Adobe subscription. Caught me with some fine print.

Will never touch Figma now.

Adobe is a disgusting company. I remember they charged me $150 just to be able to cancel my fucking accidental subscription to their awful creative cloud.

Love the idea, definitely will use.

But wondering why it's using ">>". I'm not great with Python. How does this ">>" thing work and why does it make sense to associate elements with ">>".

Thanks for the reply. That makes sense to me. I am totally fine with taking the meds forever.

I am one of the lucky cases where I experience basically zero side effects and it's been 2 years so far. I have heard of the horror story side effects like getting really overweight, not being able to bone, feeling fatigued, constantly napping etc. But I have never felt any of that. These last two years have been the best of my life.

I always have this concern though that these meds must be doing something sketchy to my brain chemistry.

But it makes sense that the constant terror of anxiety could also produce some neural pathways and brain chemistry that would be very bad...

Well I am really glad you are here and i'm also glad they worked as well for you as they did for me.

Out of curiosity, why even have the desire to get off the meds? do you experience side effects?

I had crushing anxiety and panic attacks that were destroying my life. I almost smoked the business end of a 12 guage.

I started taking Zoloft and my whole life changed. Anxiety and panic attacks completely dissappeared. Zero side effects. Happiness and joy all around.

I get worried sometimes though about what's happening in my brain chemistry. Hopefully irreversable damage isn't occuring. But I suppose that damage is better than the alternative. I also wonder, since I feel so good, if I should try weaning off the Zoloft.

But I can't risk going back into that place of darkness. Life is not worth living when you feel like that.

How is the performance with larger clusters? We have clusters with 20,000 to 40,000 containers. We have had to use things like Thanos and InfluxDB to get prometheus/grafana to work ok.

Does this thing scale well?
