I think what's great about QuicklyChat is I can skip the initial IM-tag of "you there?" "free now?" kind of back and forth. While it's relatively quick, it does break my attention and when multiplied by every member of the team it does tend to add up. And I think it's great how it's so simple - that's actually a plus, not a minus, to me.

I think this is so awesome, I spent a summer as a lowly intern for a bank once trying to write up an entire debt model in VBA (bad idea on so many fronts...), and I wanted to gouge my eyes out at the end. I would've given an arm and a leg to be able to write in Python, as I'm sure many others...so excited to see this happen!

Yes! I'm really into self-learning and improvement as well, both in athletics and music. We're hoping with with this v1 of Everyday.me we first lay the groundwork for self-chronicling, then there's _so_ much we can do around goal setting, tracking, and helping people achieve their goals. That's what gets me really excited about working on this.

A few different ways, I think Path is amazing for what it does, btw. A real inspiration for all of us. It seems to really promote you to share with your friends. We don't share at all. We also import your activities from other networks. You can post to it by email, view it on the web...please give it a try and let us know what you think.

Hi, we're sorry the description is confusing. It's similar to Facebook's Timeline in the sense that we list things chronologically, but it's completely private.

I think the easiest way to think of it is a mobile journal that not only lets you input things, but also automatically collects your social activities across the web for you. Does that help?

Hi, thanks for the feedback. We just need it to stay in touch with you and we don't want to spam your Facebook, Twitter, etc to do so.

Re: the About page. Yes, in our rush we didn't have time to put up an About page to tell you more about us. We'll be putting one up soon. We really hope to build something that can help people collect and tell the stories of their lives. To me that's what gets me really excited, is knowing that this app may be able to help someone share an exciting trip they've had to London, or to reflect back on how they've gotten to this point from a year ago. That's really fulfilling for us to know, and our motivation for building this.

Thanks, we're glad you like our design! I think Evernote is a very well done app also, but targets a more business/work-driven use case. A poor analogy may be if Evernote is good for those 8 hours you spend at work each day, then we hope to be helpful a few times during the rest of those 16 hours in the day (minus sleep, of course).
