The only way I'd consider this, is if the telemetry my app generated is available to me or can be rerouted to another target. If so, please add this ASAP. Otherwise, I'll stick with my own observability stack.
They're giving the appearance that they're working on marvels. Given the amount of raw human intelligence they've hired over the years and the profoundly underwhelming output of the organization it's pretty clear it's was an illusion to trap investors.

Can you provide more details on this? I decline to use a number of apps supported by Facebook and Google but have yet to have anyone refuse to hire me because of that.

You've obviously never worked in an environment with intentionally ignorant or lazy workers. I'm all about sharing knowledge and supporting your teammates. But I've recently discovered people who are simply leaches. They've discovered that they can get by on generosity of others. My boss sat me down earlier this year and reprimanded me for spending too much time essentially doing other people's work for them. It never occurred to me that people would do this intentionally but now that it's been pointed out to me I see these people everywhere.
There is no contradiction. You're assuming the American model. German workers and their unions work hard to ensure that they're always updating their skills. I worked in Germany for 8 years and I'd estimate that at least 10% of a workers time over a year is spent on training updates and cross training. They're dead serious about keeping workers for life.

Why is it that you can't go to a medical facility and tell the intake nurse or admin person you're not agreeing to any procedure that's not covered by your insurance. Wouldn't that put the onus back on them? Anything not covered instantly becomes a freebie or a lawsuit?
