Indeed and further feedback mechanisms will only aggravate the situation…
Been on 10/15 hours a day sessions since january 31st. Last few days were horrendous. Thinking about dropping 20x.
Could anyone recommend the same for a software startup? (Lessons learned, mistakes to avoid etc)
Perfectly summed up

A guide to disable the soap opera effect on most brands https://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/what-is-the-soap-...
Read it a few years back and found some answers. Generational trauma does exists I believe. As for the article I think it claimed the whole theory was BS without much backing arguments
Being 47 and still renting I think the piece missed a big issue, which is most prevalent these days: we cannot afford to buy. Anything. Anywhere. I reckon I’m fatally doomed to renting.
Worked for four months as a mountain bike guide on the death road in La Paz. 3600 meters to 4800 getting to the start of the road to about 1000 meters each day, and back. I believe I made many blood cells and nearly died 3 times
Been using Plexamp off a NAS at home that serves music throughout the house (Apple TVs, Plex) or in the car, or anywhere for that matter.
Another issue with Apple and I’m a fully invested die hard. 25 years now. But this is taking too far, I might start looking somewhere else. Fuck this.
iPhone 16 and 16 pro promised to support WiFi 7 but tests show speeds comparable to iPhone 15 pro. A hidden limitation which does not use the 320 MHz bandwidth. It is unknown if Apple will ever deliver a fix or update to support it.
Been an Atlassian consultant for a while and I just left (Rather I was let go) from an established Atlassian partner, and I can only feel relief. I was always more of a data center on prem person and all this cloud nonsense has been going nowhere, except for them. Those acquisitions are always half baked and you *might see some of it somewhere in a product. All I can say is I’m happy I’m no longer doing Atlassian consulting.
Virtue signalling, hand wrangling and mostly jostling in international affairs. Nothing of consequence. Just daily business
I hate YouTube, Google, Meta and all their products with a passion. Well deserved.
Echoing to this perhaps, I heard birds can react 13 times faster than we do, which is especially useful in flight with hundreds or thousands of other birds.
Forgot to mention this startup doing good work and it’s a promising lead. Getting lots of traction recently. https://terratis.fr/
Very interesting we’ve had infestations here (France) while I was living in the south, adding biogents moquitaire traps is also successful as a complement, April onwards to October. But I love the name bucket of death. Tiger mosquitoes are such an annoyance
This is absolutely amazing, awe inspiring.
Had a new Kia for the past five years and there were no issues apart from a speaker replaced under warranty. I cannot trust PSA, Renault, Stellantis or any other brands anymore. (Takata airbags) As for those flagships from renowned brands, it feels like a trend. I ‘did’ trust Volvo but won’t anymore. The way it was handled is particularly poor.
Remember. Mc Donald’s are not in the Burger business.
how do i add RAG / personal assistant features on iOS?
Very fond memories of couchsurfing met very nice people both as a traveler and a host. But this was long ago. Not sure this will ever work again though
Not following much hardware news. What can I do with this or the Intel Arc? Play games? Run AI workload? Genuine question
