Is there a firefox send alternative that can work on the cloudflare infra? I would like a low cost, deploy and forget service to send files to people

I use Lulu on my mac. Is it good enough (compared to LittleSnitch)?
I mean this is not the first time a YC company has stolen an open source project.
Is this the "John Graham-Cumming", ex-CTO of cloudflare?
Them maintaining a page of gotchas is a really cool idea - https://immich.app/cursed-knowledge
It looks like a very cool product. Though it's too expensive for a regular guy who treats the cooking as a chore.
Do you use the WhatsApp cloud API? Isn't that expensive for a $3/yr price?
But isn't the OP talking about local network while Jean-Baptiste Kempf is talking about the internet?
The Ink & Switch guys always have the best-est of ideas!
`sudo rm -rf /` requires you to be a superuser or provide a password, whereas running `wsl --unregister` does not require elevated privileges.
WSL is a landmine of bad design. I lost all my data once, and that incident made me switch to a Mac.
Here's how you can lose all your data - and Microsoft engineers won’t care: https://github.com/microsoft/WSL/issues/8992 https://github.com/microsoft/WSL/issues/9830 https://github.com/microsoft/WSL/issues/9049#issuecomment-26...
Not everyone wants to be a CEO. Some people just wanna write some good code and contribute to the world.
Very cool. This can also be used for LLM cost estimation. Basically any cost estimation I suppose. I use cloudflare workers a lot and have a few workers running for a variable amount of time. This could be useful to calculate a ball park figure of my infra cost. Thank you!
This is amazing! We need more automation in the world.
But how do they train the cow to stand in line to get milked? Why would a cow patiently wait in line to be milked?
Great article and great website. I love that every external link showed a favicon like image next to it.
Has anyone tried analyzing Durable Object with SQL storage performance? Is it as bad as D1?
If someone feels threatened by "liberal governance" and "religious diversity", that says more about them than about Kerala.
HN is great because discussions stand on their merit, not on downvotes. You using a throwaway account just to push an agenda proves the point.
Why is it "controversial" to have a left leaning government and a significant population of Christians or Muslims? Yes, Kerala had early "true" communism (land reforms, nokku kooli) but since then it has just been a left leaning, liberal government. Also answer why you find it controversial for it to have other religions than Hinduism.
Well, we know who this guy is. Something good is said about Kerala and he has to jump in to bring it down.
why the article is on the front page on HN
Maybe because a lot of Malayalis read HN? We are everywhere.
I haven't tried Konva. But have been using fabric js for an image editor I've been working on. I guess they both do a good job.
I have to build it to use it? I am both annoyed and excited at the same time.

Learning to market yourself and your projects is so important! I wish I had the skills.
feynman-brazil-education was an amazing read. Thank you.
I am from India, and I have a similar experience with my education — one that forces you to memorize, never experiment, and never connect the dots. It felt like reading about my own past and realizing just how bad it was.
Is cloudflare tunnels really this free to support thousands of internet requests?
I run a windows server at my office where we connect to it using RDP from multiple locations. If I could instead buy the hardware and use cloudflare tunnels to let my team RDP to it then it would save me a lot of money. I could recoup my hardware cost in less than a year. Would this be possible?
(I wouldn't mind paying for cloudflare tunnels / zero trust. It just should be much smaller than the monthly payment I make to Microsoft)
Do we have an example sequence we can load? Would be easier to try it, out without giving it much thought.
Thank God my side hustle doesn't have any real users
I don't know why one would use Ollama instead of llama.cpp. llama.cpp is so easy to use and the maintainer is pretty famous and active in the community.
TIL you can set live dock icons. This is all I need too. Thank you.
