I made a small tool where I and my wife can send receipt photos, ask in text to create events or send poster of an event from Telegram and it directly sync it to my Google family calendar.

Since last month, I'm still working on https://www.campinjapan.com/
I had a few customers for custom trip planning for vanlife in Japan. It does not pay the bills yet and the biggest pain point is to send people in an adventure sleeping in remote spots. I refused 50% of customer so far (based on early conversation) because I wasn't too confortable sending young and noisy people in the spots I usually go to enjoy myself knowing that there are local people (often volunteering) to clean the public spaces..
I also added a section for people to post their second hand vehicles, more articles and a "plus" plan to access previously created custom plans..
Little by little doing some progress in this niche..
A complete guide on how to travel or live by van in Japan. Additionally trying to turn my passion into a revenue by offering tourists custom handcrafted plans for them to travel.
This is a fun side project as I learn great with email communication, culture differences (as a dev)
looks great but their website makes it challenging to get started. Should just have a big play button on top...
Author here: Just to clarify: We don't wear diaper everyday... But it happened and was a good option during snow for the lady.. The luxury was an expression (I'm not English native speaker).
You should probably go to therapy yourself
Thanks, just enabled cache and rebooted server

You can generate similar images to print for free with Shirase: https://dokomaps.com/shirase ;)(I'm the maker)
Been hanging around since few months and it's a really nice community! <3
check out what i'm making at https://dokomaps.com a simple travel recommender based on lists of what people shared previously. Just find someone that matches your interest and follow their recommandations
Your projects are awesome anvaka! Please continue doing those!
Nice but advertisement is violent :D
This is awesome! I want more in Europe as I love Pinball! I'll add the one I know tomorrow (especially there is a nice pinball museum in Rotterdam, NL)
For the maps feature I'll be happy to discuss with you using https://dokomaps.com we're making a platform for anyone to create communities of place sharing!
If you're visiting Ghent I just did again yesterday and made a list of my favorite places: https://dokomaps.com/map/381/the-medieval-city-of-ghent-belg...
While living abroad in Japan I always had family and friends asking for recommendations on where and what to visit when they went to Japan. As I was tired of always writing the same list over email, chat, phone... I decided to create a tool to easily map my recommendations and share it for free.
The result is https://dokomaps.com
What is nice compared to other similar services is that on DokoMaps you can also browse created by other travelers to inspire your next travel.
If you're interested you can create your own map and let me know if you have any feedback!
Nice tool! Could also be used for data science ;)
https://dokomaps.com is a more human and user friendly alternative were locals create their own map, add comment and categories and share them.
This is a really useful website! Where do you get the data?
I work with SailsJS (backendandlayouts), Bulma for CSS and Vue for more complex pages, PostgreSQL for DB all hostedon Digital Ocean.
Development goes really fast forMVP (for eg https://dokomaps.com)
I use Bulma CSS for starting my projects and it's awesome! Was a Bootstrap guy before but I find Bulma more easy and sexier.
Awesome work ;)
You don't have time to reply to people but still have time to post here every months...
If you're interested in Ethereum Smart Contracts I wrote: http://ethereumdev.io/
I recommend reading this: https://blog.ethereum.org/2015/08/07/on-public-and-private-b... . In a private blockchain the reading and writing permissions are controlled, therefore only selected nodes can write to it.
"The validators are known, so any risk of a 51% attack arising from some miner collusion in China does not apply."
I guess you could still have attack from authorized nodes in your own organization?
Hello osmode, if you'd like you could say hello there: https://ethereumdev.io/contact/ Loved your articles and looking to write blockchain creation and more after finishing Solidity tutorials..
Don't you have anything else to do?
Thanks for your comment and it's fixed thanks to a hard fork ;)
That's why you need to get a good education and accessible education on the subject...
As the technology evolves you need more and more people fluent. Most people will never write live code involving million of dollars but it might help people understanding the techno and the code behind... This is an introduction and as more and more article will be written the learners will be more skilled and aware of security and good practices
I agree about typing but unfortunately I'm not a core dev. The compiler does a good job at warnings thought...
