I always recommend my relatives or friends that interested in coding to learn React and make their own website which contains some logic.

Apart from npm and yarn, they need not install any other tool or builder. Also they can see the results in near real time.

I think the ability to see the result of what they code right-away will keep their interest for the 'fragile and prone-to-stress phase'. Proven my architect older brother and 2 of my friends continue to make website and learn other webtools or language till now.

the thing with newbie is no overhead and teach them lessons. leave tweaking and aesthetics for their own time. if they really are into the terminal, they will find their own way and time to decorate em.

I tried Purelymail and though I trust the service, Runbox's web interface left much to be desired. I also have mail went to spam with Fastmail that makes me paranoid and always BCC my gmail account for every important email.

One thing that I don't like with Microsoft and Google's mail service is the need to create new account to have a custom domain mail.

I can drink up to 4-5 mugs of ground coffee a day. The mug is exactly the size of SBUX's venti size. It's not regular, I can handle a day with only 1 mug or none at all on very rare occasion. Lucky me, my SO and friends help me with reminding to drink a lot of water.

I also have difficulties to find good iOS app for Catholic. Nah. It's very hard for me to find any downloadable version of Catholic publications.

FWIW Sublime Text do have "multi cursor editing" mode that can do some basic column mode editing.

Very nice! The UI is not pretty, but the UX surely is great. Bitwarden also provides true black theme for OLED. Website auto-detect key works well on Safari, but hit-and-miss on other browser (just like 1P is—or was).

Actually, I like tab. It gives people more choice on how their code looks like based on their editor's preference.

But no, I cannot —even sneakily, manually— enforce tab in my company(es) code bases. Reasonable person uses formatter which opinionated config set from the first commit.

And I like the formatter decision better. If it is automated and reduce unnecessary debate between devs, why not?

My father said that the unit adapted from Dutch's metric system.

The pronunciation is the same to standard unit "Ounce" that I got confused when I first learn about units in elementary school.
