I wonder how reliable the verification mechanism will be. Currently, you require 3 or 5 agents for peer review. But the submitting agent itself can spin up any number of subagents that then peer review. You got plans to increase the trustworthiness of the review process?
There are well intentioned people everywhere, also at Google or OpenAI...
But the final decisions made usually depend on the incentive structures and mental models of their leaders. Those can be quite different...
It's good that there are still empathic humans in the decision and build chain when it comes to AI systems...
Can someone explain to me what is so special here? It seems to be just a simple binary abstract syntax tree, which with varying syntax can represented by almost any programming language
it seems to be optimized for dry walls. not sure how it would perform on concrete or other stone walls. Also I could not find a technical description how it works.

why should it be any different on mars than on earth?
This show has a cool premise, that being what if the space race never ended. It's a sort-of alternate reality and it does a good job of weaving in actual historical events with where the timeline diverged. The main problem is that I feel like the show is being pulled in two directions. In one direction, there is the tension of the space race, engineers scrambling to be the first on the moon/mars and dealing with all manner of technical issues in a realistic-ish way. That part of the show I enjoy. Then, for some reason, the show also throws in a bunch of trite interpersonal drama and stupidity. Like inter-marital affairs, people leaking NASA secrets to the soviets, and a CLEARLY unstable drug-addicted astronaut being given solo control of a super important mission. It's like the showrunners thought the show couldn't stand on it's own without dumb drama, as if there couldn't organically be issues and drama in the context of Frigging SPACE. The first season does this better, but by the 2nd/3rd seasons most of the issues come not from unforeseen difficulties of life on the moon/mars but idiots. It really makes me wonder if they just aren't sure who their audience are. The people who like the technical stuff are not going to like the artificial drama, and vise-versa. Pick a lane, show, and stick with it.
I find working with React and Mobx a breeze, also for complex apps. Not sure, why this has not been more widely adopted. It eliminates usually the need to use those mentioned unintuitive and error prone state handling mechanisms.

they are more like star clusters than galaxies. Galaxies usually have a lot of mostly circular momentum with arms forming etc.
might be even the better marketing term "Software star clusters"

so it is up to the fabric of our society and everyone involved in dealing with the technology, how the rules and boundaries are set.
that there will be military use is obvious. However, it is naive to think one can avoid military use by others by not enabling oneself for it.

The report says, that China does not allow independent auditors for the subsidised investments to enter the country. This should have been a red flag. It would have been easy to change the policy to only support investments that allow independent auditors.

yep, and the main engineers have founded groq.com with an architecture that among others precisely solved the memory management issues
is there now a low latency solution for windows 2nd monitor? I was only aware of some software where latency is quite bad or one company that provided a wireless HDMI / Displayport dongle...
Also the nice thing for headphones within apple is, that the airpods automatically switch to where the attention is... meaning e.g., in case I watch something on the laptop and pick up an iphone call (no matter if via phone or any app) the airpod automatically switches
Apple devices also work quite seamless together. IPads for example work great as a second screen wirelessly with the MBPs. I'd immediately buy a 14 inch ipad just for that, since that is so useful when not on your standard desk. Also copy paste between devices or headphones just work...
in case Apple would come up with the idea to take an ipad as external compute unit that would be amazing... just double your ram, compute and screen with it in such a lightweight form factor... should be possible if they want

I agree, that there is no obvious solution by just enabling a setting... But no matter what tool you use for it, that is what needs to be done. It is quite simple for example if you use Macpass or Cryptomator on a Mac.
The effort is actually minimal. Just export the passwords occasionally and save it in an encrypted file. 30 seconds
The issue is rather, that most people rely on these convenient services 100% and dont (want to) think about what happens in a bad case scenario.
